This was our second visit, the first one being 10 years ago. Ruth and Ole do not disappoint. Enjoy a fire in the main living room the first night. We stayed in the North Shore room again and were not disappointed. Breakfast was excellent both mornings. Eggs Benedict the first and scrambled eggs and sausage the second morning. Plenty of...

We were in Copper Harbor a few years back, staying at another well ranked facility and driving down Route M-26. On a whim, we stopped in the new log home B&B and were greeted by son Abe. Since D-G was new with no guests and the owners were away, Abe took us on a tour of this beautiful home. On...

This was our first visit to Copper Harbor and are extremely happy we chose the Dapple Gray B&B! Impressive log home with themed rooms, awesome views of Lake Superior, and lots to enjoy! Ole, Ruth, and Abe were so very accommodating and welcomed us like family. We traveled with our good friends, and agreed this was the best accommodation of...

Simply the greatest place to stay. The family that runs Dapple-Gray treats you just like family. Ole, Ruth and Abe are the kindest people on earth. Your stay will be peaceful, comfortable, and memorable. If you are planning to stay there, I wish I was you.

The Dapple Gray surpassed our expectations for a B&B in the remote area of the Upper Peninsula. It is a beautiful structure inside and out, filled with very nice antiques and memorabilia. Enjoyed walking around outside and looking at the meticulous flower and rose plantings. Also enjoyed seeing the miniature donkeys. The view of Lake Superior from our room, 2nd...

We heard great things, and Dapple Gray beat the hype (by far). The owners are delightful (and we have met many delightful owners...Ole and Ruth are "family." They totally care about your whole experience). The home is gorgeous! Great outside, great inside. Miniature donkeys to pet among well tended gardens. The breakfast was yummy each day! The other visitors were...

What a beautiful area of Michigan. The Dapple-Gray sits across the street from Lake Superior, with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved just sitting on the deck taking in the view......nice to catch a freighter going by, and a short walk across the street to watch the sunset was nice if you didn't want to take the drive...

The room was spacious and comfortable with our own bathroom and a great view! The owners were very kind and shared information about the area. Loved meeting George Washington, the dog, and also the three donkeys! Breakfast was fabulous and great conversations! Definitely would stay here again!

We have stayed at many B&B's over the years. This was among the best. If there were a category of best place to be stranded for a week by the snow, this would get my vote. Dapple-Gray is a large log cabin type structure. The rooms are huge with vaulted ceilings and balconies with a view of the Lake Superior...

Wow! This is a wonderful inn, in a beautiful corner of the UP. We stayed for 3 nights earlier this month enroute to Isle Royale. Our large, comfortable, well-appointed room had great views and great beds and the breakfast was yummy. But the most treasured memory will be of Ollie - his kindness and humor as he picked us up...
