Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for a concert at Chene Park. The location was within walking distance to Greektown, People Mover and Cobo. We had a great city view of the Ren Cen and Canada. The staff and management was great!! The room was very nice and spacious with refrigerators and new carpet. We would definitely stay here again on...

The rooms have recently been redone and they are lovely. We had a river view from an upper floor--excellent! The hallways could have used more housekeeping on floor 14 but the reception area was nice, the staff friendly and breakfast was very good. We loved being so close to the People Mover and to the riverwalk. Location is excellent.

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for a conference at Cobo. The location was perfect - 4 blocks so I got a little bit of walking in each day. The breakfast buffet includes made to order omelettes and on the weekend there was late night jazz. Newly renovated, the rooms are clean, spacious and very functional. I will definitely stay...

If you have to go to downtown Detroit, stay here and NOT the Marriott across the street. The staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms are big and have refrigerators. Take the People Mover to get a feel of the downtown area.

Got that new carpet smell when we got to our room. Kind of nice to know it hasn't had thousands of feet trampling it yet. Rooms were nicely done and spacious. We did get some traffic noise on the 16th floor but others on the same floor were fine so must have just been our bad luck. Very security conscious....

This is our go-to hotel for Detroit area events. Staff is friendly and efficient check-in. They are upgrading their rooms. Very nice. We had a nice view of the Ren Cen and some of Belle Isle. Better view on higher floors (we were on 12). Breakfast buffet is not included but good. Bar has reasonable prices for a night cap.

We are walking distance to almost everything you want to do and see.... Not even far to Epcot Center which we spent on our anniversary day.... Definitely will come and stay at...

Stayed here for a Family Reunion this weekend and the staff and location of the hotel was AWESOME. Unfortunately, the hotel was laking a little in the aesthetics department. Although they are renovating the rooms and my room was newly renovated, it lacked any love in the decor. The rooms were gray, plain and basic. I will however thank the...

We stayed at this hotel as part of their baseball package. It was a decent deal and the hotel is very convenient for going to the Tiger's Game via the PeopleMover. The hotel is nicely maintained, although the room had a faint chemical smell (not awful). The included breakfast was OK but I would not have paid the full cost...

With the GT hotel full checked into this location. While the room category says valet parking included, it doesn't say parking fees extra! hey need to make this clear in thier postings. The valet was great, offered us directions, recommendations and 2 tokens for the people mover. Check in was painless, asked for and received a room with a great...
