I had read the other reviews and had to try it out. Very nice hotel. Makes flying from DTW a breeze and yes it is very quiet there. You don't hear planes all night. The restaurant in the hotel is good we had appetizers and drinks there at night and breakfast in the morning both were very good.

So this is a very nice hotel. I didn't hear any airport noise and the staff was excellent. I only have two negative comments. The food and beverage pricing is out of line and way too high. They do have a very cumbersome process so you can go get something to eat in the terminal. What they have done is...

The closest to the runway but 0 noise. The beds were comfortable and very clean lobby and the check-in clerks and valet guys were nice and amazing. Great hotel, closest to the airport, The View from room is amazing if you love planes.I saw almost 10 to 20 landing and takeoff. They do have calmest room and good lounge on...

Wow if you have to layover in Detroit this is the place to stay. Just get off the plane and roll right into the Westin. It is right in the center of the new terminal and the best thing in the morning they have their own TSA security screening. No one was in line with me, 2 minutes. It's a...

The Westin at DTW shows that, contrary to the experience one has at most airports, it really is possible to have a great hotel inside an airport. The convenience is the first thing you notice - it's smack in the middle of the Delta terminal and while you do go outside security to enter you don't go outside the terminal....

I went to DTW to pick up my girl-friend in July 2013. We had to stay a night at DTW. It is the nearest hotel to the airport. Valet is very good. Food is terrific. Room is average. If you wanna catch a moring flight, this is the best choice.

Having heard some cool things about this hotel from family we decided to give it a try since we were leaving from DTW the next morning. I'm a loyal Westin/Sheraton customer and this is a prime example as to why. It is a fantastic looking hotel. Very chic and trendy in the lobby/restaurant area. Glass elevators over look this area...

The Westin Detroit is a great airport hotel. I stayed overnight to catch a connecting flight and the Westin is everything you would want in an airport hotel. Primarily location, it's literally in the airport with its own dedicated security. It took me less than 10 minutes from walking out of my room to standing at the gate. On top...

Stayed at this hotel for one night on my way home from China. The good news: it's connected to the McNamara terminal and is very easy to get to in about 3 minutes after baggage claim. The bad news: TV wasn't working in my room and technicians had to come up to fix it (they were fantastic, though). Worse (and...

We arrived at the Detroit airport late at night with plans to drive to Toronto the following morning. The best things about this hotel were the location and ease of use from the airport which could not have been better. The hotel property was nicer than what I expected for an airport property. The restaurant food was also good. We...
