We stayed here for a wedding. I pretty much didn't sleep at all because of the noise level. The room next to ours was having a loud party at 2 am and the walls are so thin you could hear everything, as well as what was happening outside. For such an expensive hotel, I would expect some better insulation for...

This hotel is situated close to Greek Town and several reputable restaurants and casinos. The staff members are professional, the facility tastefully decorated and the rooms are beautiful. The rooms are suites with large front rooms, marble bathrooms and a sunken bedroom with gorgeous skyline views. We will definitely stay here again

This hotel saw its last update in the seventies and it was most likely cleaned that time. The sink was broken, the table and doors are greasy, the tv would get better reception with a metal hanger. The bathroom had urin on the floor and the corners are dirty. This heater is noisy, the matress too soft and loud and...

Stayed at this hotel for a Wings game at the Joe. The staff is wonderful! Very helpful and courteous. The room is showing wear and is in need of updating. One quirk is the light in the bathroom lights up the glass block wall in the shower which magnifies the light into the bedroom. The restaurant is not open for...

I have been going to the Detroit Auto Show annually for about 16 years, and for the last 10 years or so have stayed at the Athenium every year. 10 years ago when we began staying at the Athenium, there were limited options for decent hotels and dining in Detroit and we liked staying in the Greektown area, so chose...

Big room, large comfortable king bed, separate couch sitting area. Large bathroom with big vanity, and soaking tub, very large soft towels. good location, in Greektown, close to the people mover, casinos and a 10 minute walk to business district, Ren Cen.

I will try and make this short. I'm not a picky person and try to leave reviews that are pertinent to the cost and the experience. Cost : $175 per night w/parking of $25 Bed comfort : 2 /5. Sheets are scratchy, pillows are worn out. Room : 2/5. Horribly outdated and not kept up. Bubbling wall paper. Scuffed walls....

For a person traveling alone the room was a bit over-sized. I would have been happier with a room half the size at a lower price. The bed was super comfortable and the desk space was nice for reading etc. My only criticism is the kitschy fake plants up and down the atrium.

Centrally located but comes with plenty of street noise. Twenty minutes of an engine being revved at 2 in the morning is never good! Hotel claims to be full of suites and I have no reason to doubt that. My room was large, on a split level. Comfy enough but perhaps needs a little freshening up. Looked forward to my...
