The bathroom sink faucet water ran very very slow and I informed the front desk the first day of my (5) stay. Each day I was told someone would take care of the issue. The last NIGHT of my stay a repairman finally came. He indicated he was NEVER called prior to my last night's stay. Additionally, the curtain was...

Maybe again for $30.00 less / night. Although the outside and lobby of the facility looks good, our room was not. Carpet was completely stained and had holes in it, bedding was strangely thin and the towels were worn, some of which had holes in them. The bathroom floors and tub need work. Unfortunately the service of front desk staff...

Just got back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. We had a very nice time here. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the shuttle driver Andre. People will knock the neighborhood, but it was less than a mile from downtown and within a half mile of an outdoor amphitheater on the river....

Our room was SO loud! Not much can be done to make guests quiet, but doors can properly close with a decent seal. The door had about a half inch gap between it and the door jam. The halls and elevator smelled badly of weed. We had no light in the bathroom. Both lights were burnt out and I couldn't...

We had reserved two rooms for a Friday and Saturday. At first, this hotel was NOT an option as we were trying for something closer to the city. However, according to Google Maps it was close to the river (a bonus) and affordable. After learning that the rates were probably as low as we could get (compared to other hotels...

The room had only enough towels for one person and there were two of us staying. They knew that because there were two beds. Each day, towels had to be collected, washed, and then returned to the rooms, they didn't have enough to do it simultaneously. Our air conditioner leaked all over the floor and sounded like a 747 all...

I stayed at Detroit regency hotel multiple times during the last one year! To begin with, the location is excellent and the hotel's look is equivalent to a 3 star hotel! The staff is super nice. Joe, the manager is extremely professional and understanding. During my stay, I interacted with Steve and Andre and both were super friendly and helpful....

Security door inconsistently latched. Fire alarms beeping in hallway like they weren't working. Room fire alarm disconnected and in drawer. No indication the elevator ever inspected. Carpets stained. Upholstery stained and worn. Shower handle broken. Sketchy neighborhood. Smelled like stale smoke covered up by incense. Security latch inside the door broken. Dirty bathroom. Sheets didn't fit bed. Pass on this...
