First thing, the heat/ac knobs were broken. The shower had no pressure and sprayed out the back side. The tub didn't hold water, the drain plug was broke. So the staff brought us a cork to put in the drain. Took an hour to get luke warm water, let alone fill up the jacuzzi. The bathroom counter was falling off...

price and location are good, Detroit downtown is in walking distance, just around 15 mins walking. Staff is very warm and helpful, Andre is a nice guy. I definitely will stay again next time. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel.

First thing, bullet proof glass at check in desk. Next the door dead bolt didn't work. Then the phone rang, however the receiver was ripped from the cord. A knock on the door was a nice guy called Sylvester telling us we were parked in the shuttle space. We ended up parking in front of the dumpster. As I started to...

This hotel had really friendly and helpful service at all hours. Unfortunately the rooms were also noisy at all hours. Not sure if linen was as clean as it could be either. Close to car hire which was convenient.

Stayed at the hotel for the Thanksgiving Day Lions game. Had an amazing experience dealing with the staff! They were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The best of the best was the shuttle driver Andre! He was absolutely amazing! They had a free shuttle that took us from the hotel to a short walk away...

DO NOT stay at this hotel! The main lobby is thick with bullet-proof glass and when we asked the front desk if this was a good part of town, he said, "Yeah, ya know, it's downtown"... There were homeless people walking around and had tents set up nearby. When we walked down the hallway to our room, it smelled TERRIBLE...

I arrived at the Detroit Regency for the Thanksgiving game 2014 and was a little disappointed. The room looked old and worn, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was. Breakfast was small but comparable to other hotels in this price range. The great feature of this hotel was the shuttle bus that took us to the...

The hotel front desk staff was very helpfull! We arrived in Detroit to a major power outage. The hotel we had reservations at was closed due to the outage so after scrambling last minute we found the Detroit Regency. We enjoyed our stay as we were meeting two other couples for the Lions game. The rooms were not the newest,...

My boyfriend & I were weary to stay here because of the mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. The only reviews I found to hold true were that you are limited on towels in your room and the wifi was hit or miss sometimes (but if you ask them they will reset the router and it will work fine .. being...
