Not a bad hotel for the money. Did not use the pool area. It was fairly small and did not take much to fill up. I did like that they had an adult only time for the pool but after driving all day we were too tired to take advantage of it. They have a free breakfast, but we were meeting someone for breakfast so did not take advantage of that either. The room itself was clean but the soft areas looked like they had not been cleaned in a long time. I suggested to the front desk when I left that they put the room on a rotation for a steam clean. She said she would leave a note for maintenance. There was a large black spot on the rug in the bedroom and the couch and chair were filthy with stains. I recently stayed for five nights at Country Inn and Suites. The trip ended on an extremely bad note when staff used derogatory language in the hotel breakfast area while my 10 year old daughter and I were trying to enjoy our breakfast. Staff did not see the issue, and insisted it wasn’t a big deal, and three staff members attempted to justify the use of derogatory language in front of children - including a manager on duty today 3/24/23, telling me that me and my money are not welcome in their town, for attempting to resolve this issue. Staff lied to corporate, indicating first that they already apologized for the incident (they did not) and secondly to say that I fabricated the incident for a free stay (I did not). So not only do staff use and defend derogatory language in front of children, they will lie about guest experiences to cover themselves. Absolutely disappointing and disgusting experience. I recommend staying at any of the other hotels in the Dundee area over this hotel, unless you like rude, demeaning, and degrading staff. …

We had to be in the area for an extended stay with a surgery and medical appointments. The staff went out of their way to make sure that our needs were cared for. We would readily stay here again. The breakfast area was decent and well stocked most mornings (one morning they were short-staffed). The pool and pool area were great. And the meeting room we rented for a family gathering was perfect.

We stay here every time we come to Michigan to visit family and will never stay anywhere else. Very helpful and friendly staff, and very clean and comfortable rooms. We also love the area. We highly recommend this hotel!!

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The furniture is stained and disgusting. It’s in serious need of updating. Breakfast was just sad, not even a decent cup of coffee. Couldn’t wait to get home and take a shower.

Our king sized bed was perfectly comfortable, and we slept like babes. The room was clean. The staff was kind and efficient. The hotel manager was hilarious and welcoming. Next door was an electric car charger which we needed because we drive a Chevy Bolt. It checked all of the boxes that you need in a hotel stay. Thumbs way up!

We were doing fine till my grandson got sick around 11 pm. He is just little and he threw up all over the bed and the carpeting and in the bathroom on the floor. The only assistance offered was clean sheets and towels and garbage bags. Absolutely no cleaning supplies. I had some wet ones with us that helped with the carpet and the bag that got messy too. I aske what to do with the messy stuff and was told to put everything in the hallway. Basically we had to strip the bed and use towels to clean up the bulk of the mess and put it all in plastic bags all by ourselves. And then I mentioned that they might want to do a really good cleaning tomorrow while we are out and they told us to tell the daytime people about it. My goodness at least tell your own staff that a specific room needs attention!!! I just can’t explain the frustration with the response to our emergency- offering no assistance whatsoever and I had to go down and carry everything up by myself too!!…

Have stayed at this hotel numerous times but this last stay I had to cut my stay short by one day and still got charged for the day I didn't stay. Check out was at noon and I checked out at 1 pm. Not good for business when I have frequented this hotel often. Going to another hotel that appreciates our companies business.
