The rooms were tiny but they were clean so I could look past the size. However.. the bathroom is something I could not look past. There is no shower.. it's just a shower head and curtain. Then the floor is all wet. I didn't like that. Luckily I was only there for two nights for work, the rooms were to...

On the edge of MSU campus. Rooms are small and the bathroom had a strange layout. Nice bar area off lobby. Staff is vert friendly. A lot of students working in the hotel. Seems like the place to stay for perspective students at MSU. A lot of meeting rooms.

Thank you for writing a review. We do understand that the bathroom design in some of the rooms is not everyone's preferred design. We do however, offer several rooms with tubs. Guests may ask for this room type at the time of reservation or during check-in. We accommodate our guests the best we can based on room availability.

Was a nice hotel and good location. However, the bathroom set-up is a little odd in that when we took showers the whole bathroom was essentially wet. There were high school groups there while we stayed that were noisy but as soon as we called staff was quick to help.

Hello Karen - Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate your feedback. The bathroom design in some of our rooms is definitely tight. However, we do offer several rooms with a different bathroom layout that include a tub. Guests may ask for this room type at the time of reservation or during check-in. We do...

Room and service was friendly and courteous, Parking Garage next door- I discovered a flat tire a few mornings later, the security guy and front desk were helpful and attentive in getting a wrecker service. Food in the restaurant little costly but good. Menus could have more traditional American selections would be appreciated.

I was attending a CMAA club management education event. The room rate was very reasonable and the room service food was great! Crème brûlée was awesome! My room had a shower, king bed and a small living room. Lots of trails for walking and visiting the campus. The airport is a quick 15 min drive.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful people work here in many different departments. The folks at the front desk felt like old friends, truely wonderful ppl. I would stay again just for the phenomenal personnel. But the wet bathroom floor in the middle of the night really gives you the college town nastalgia.

The hotel is great to stay here if you are touring MSU, as the parking is free and you can get a shuttle to where you want to go. But, when the hotel is full, the elevators are slow and always full as there is only 2 small elevators and I believe 7 floors. The rooms are fairly small and dimly...

As a former professor at Penn State University, I spent a great deal of time at The Penn Stater and The Nitny Lion. Stayed here for 2 nights for a family gathering. Centrally located, very clean, food service was wonderful and the staff was fabulous! Only complaint was that it was a little difficult to get the temperature in the room regulated but once we figured it out it was fine
