Property does not go over details upon check-in they just tell you to sign the credit card charge form. Beware, do not want this to happen to you! Charged $250 pet fee. Do not own dog. Did not bring dog to hotel. Did not occur to me to ask about pets since I don't have one. Maintenance guy racist “you people” “people like you trying to get away with everything”. Dad was given 72-hours to live, just hours after checking in, I was inconsolable. Friend came over with his dog to try to help me. Dad passed 48-hours later. Rooms are not clean. Sent the hotel a picture of towel after wiping the floor in front of the sink. No response from property. Attempted by e-mail, phone, and 5-property visits.

Rented 2 rooms for a Saturday night: Room 1: Hair in shower drain, bra left on desk chair Room 2: Literal garbage (straw wrapper, paper, tooth flosser) on bathroom floor. TV had been disconnected from cable by previous tenant. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful, but a complimentary bottle of water doesn't make up for unsanitary conditions. I understand everyone is short-staffed (which is why I'm not complaining about the 2-hour wait for one of my rooms to get clean linens) but garbage, old lingerie and hair are disgusting.

This Clarion Pointe is a very hospitable motel for a stay. Traveling alot I stay in many hotels/motels. The staff and management are by far some of the nicest and professional around. Customer service is a top priority for them. Breakfast and great coffee are a bonus.

The hotel is close to campus but it would be a pretty far walk to get there. The facility itself has a clean tidy lobby, sitting area, and eating area. We got our meals from local places to go (due to covid) and ate them in the breakfast seating area - hotel staff was fine with us using it. There's a grab and go breakfast that you get from the front desk. The breakfast sandwiches need to be microwaved and there are mediocre muffins and packaged bagels if you want those. The breakfast is meager but it's covid so it's better than nothing. There's a Whole Foods across the street if you want healthier breakfast fare. The room left things to be desired. There were only 2 sets of towels so we had to ask for a third. The bathroom door had something splashed and dried on the inside of it but otherwise the room was clean. The bathroom door didn't close because it was swollen or just didn't fit the frame. The bathroom looked as though it had been painted over and over to the point where the paint was so thick that the door didn't shut right. The beds were smaller than queen size which I thought would be a problem when I saw them but my husband and I fit fine (we're small people). The transition between the carpet and tile was raised which posed a tripping hazard, along with the desk chair that was too big to be rolled under the desk and therefore stuck out into the already narrow walkway. I think the room would be better for 2 people rather than 3 or 4.

My wife Janet and I found the experience delightful ... The Hotel was clean and the Staff was wonderful and very helpful ... Starr the assistant manager was a sweetheart and Brandon, the locations GM was professional and curtious. We were in room 115 and the entire staff was more than accomidating . I would highly recommend an overnight stay or an extended stay. The facility was located on the edge of Michigan State's campus, public transportation was right outside the door and there was restaurants and stores nearby which we found to be very convienent . Breakfast sandwich's were available every morning ... plus an assortment of beverages.
