I normally stay at Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center when visiting campus. For my travel dates, the Kellogg Center was way to expensive so I looked for somewhere else to stay. Just based off of distance from the buildings I needed to visit on campus, I picked Wild Goose Inn. I called to book my room. I needed a late... More

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 31 January 2016

The Wild Goose Inn is simply delightful. The location is 100 meters from the MSU campus. I was in the Great Lakes room, decorated in nautical themes. Jacuzzi in the room, fireplace, very comfortable. The owner and staff are all very friendly and very helpful about things in the local area. The breakfast is excellent. I was here for a... More

I chose the Wild Goose Inn because I wanted to stay close to the campus and since it was my time back to East Lansing since graduating from MSU more than 20 years ago, I wanted to stay somewhere with a personal touch. The Wild Goose Inn exceeded my expectations with a generous, oversized room, Indian Summer, with its warm... More

When I walked through the doors of the Wild Goose Inn, time seemed to stop and I felt what must have been akin to walking into Narnia. It is so beautiful, and the Innkeeper's attention to detail could be seen in every inch of the place. Rooms are impeccably cleaned. Location is practically on MSU's campus. Breakfast is INSANE, the... More

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. We loved everything about this Inn. It is right in the heart of East Lansing, yet it has a very relaxing feel about it. The room was outstanding! The deck area between the two houses was a perfect place to relax both for... More

Locations is good at this urban Bed and Breakfast. Parking is next door in a city lot and you do pay extra for it. Rooms are average, queen bed, jacuzzi in room. TV quality not the best. You are window to window with the building next door. I was disappointed in the lack of attention to detail from the owner.... More

So beautiful and relaxing. Already have booked again. Wonderful breakfast and people who run the B&B. Had a great time and feel it's the best place we have ever stayed and intend to go often. A unique place to stay.

We've been staying at the Wild Goose Inn since the winter of 2012, when our oldest son was considering attending MSU. He just graduated, but our daughter just finished freshman year at MSU, so we are looking forward to 3 more years of trips to East Lansing. At first we only stayed here when traveling without our younger children (13,15),... More
