We paid $261.59 (incl. tax) per night for a motel room with a minimum three-night booking required. We were very surprised when we saw the room. It was updated-ish but very basic. The door and one small window faced a parking lot. The room was furnished with a bed, a small table and two chairs, two nightstands and a TV console. The furnishings were cheap but functional. We were pleased that it included a microwave, fridge, and large TV. It had everything we needed but felt like it should have been about $100/night less. The biggest surprise came at check-in when we were told the resort had eliminated daily housekeeping due to a staffing shortage. The manager credited us some money back, which made things more palatable. I would recommend this property with caution.
Loved the resort really close to downtown Frankfort. The service was awesome. We're already planning to go back next year. The condo we reserved was being renovated. We were compensated with a hotel room to accommodate our party. The condo served our purpose to gather as a group and enjoy the vacation.
This hotel is very nice. Its about an hour from Traverse City and Very close to Sleeping Bear. The Hotel has many types of rooms to meet any need. You can walk from the hotel into town and have a variety of stores and wonderful restaurants . This hotel sits right on the lake with great sunsets. This is a location that we will be back to visit again. The town , hotel is very laid back. We wanted to stay a few extra nights and Steve at the front desk made it happen. Thanks Steve!!! Everyone at the hotel is very nice and accommodating. This is the hotel in Frankfort that you want to stay. The difficult part is getting a reservations. Keep trying.
My wife and I rented a mini suite for for four nights during the week. Two queen beds, full kitchen, sofa bed, bathroom jacuzzi tub, nice deck facing the lake. We both loved it. We never used the pool or hot tub. Plenty of walkable things to do, restaurants, stores, bars…..we spent a little over $300 per night in June. Came complete with dishes, pots and pans, toaster etc… and even a couple of beach chairs. We’re coming back in September. PS There’s books to read above the TV in the bedroom and a great coffee table book with pictures of the past….i couldn’t put it down. “Shared Moments, A Journey Through Time”
Absolutely the best location. Stayed in suite 89A. Handicap accessible deluxe, walk out to sand beach. Very clean, bathroom was acceptable for wheelchair. However this suite had “shag carpet”. It is listed as handicap accessible. It was not ADA compliant totally just be aware. We enjoyed our stay working around carpet issue.
A cozy and quiet room just a peak around the corner to beautiful Lake Michigan. Enjoy the spectacular views of the lighthouse while the waves make their appearance over the pier. Wake up to enjoy a warm cup of coffee a skip away at one of the local coffee cafes. Petals and Perks seems to never disappoint. Find yourself relaxing in the evening in the clean hot tub the resort has to offer or take a quick dip in the pool. Whatever you choose, this town is not to disappoint.
Our October fall color trip up north was perfect because of the ideal condo - Harbor Lights. Two bedroom condo with ideal balcony view of Lake Michigan was worth every penny. We were happy to walk into Frankfort to explore (some restaurants are open with safe outdoor dining, staff wearing masks, and we often brought to-go meals back to our condo as the view was so good). Very happy with the condo - comfortable (great beds, nicely decorated living room with cozy feel), clean, and great for a family - whether relaxing and enjoying sunset from the balcony, playing board games at the table, going for walk on the beach, or easy drive around Arcadia Dunes, Sleeping Bear parks. Highly recommend this - staff was helpful when I needed to get some work done - and wifi worked great. Laundry available if needed. We've stayed in rooms at the resort too, and they are very nice - equally clean and comfortable. We'll come back.…
Very well kept property. Stayed in a motel room that was very clean and roomy. We were able to park right outside our door. Lots of lighting in this room! Loved having table and chairs to play games or eat at. It is within walking distance to the beach and the downtown area and there is a marina just across the street. There was no traffic noise and rooms were very quiet as well. When reservations were confirmed they provided a long list of covid precautions that that take.
We stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms are clean, which is always a concern of mine when not staying at a chain. The staff is professional and the indoor pool area is nice. The biggest plus for me is that it is within walking distance of everything in Frankfort. The beach area and lighthouse are literally right outside and downtown shopping and dining is literally blocks away.
Great stay in unit 27B. Short walk to beach which is right off the back of the condo's deck. Shops/restaurants are only a few blocks away in town. Staff was very friendly and helpful at check in/out. I would recommend Harbor Lights and will return.
