First of all I love that you can hear the waves from Lake Superior from our room with the window open. The room is very clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Staying here the night while snowmobiling. They have a very large space for trailers for those hauling snowmobiles. We are close to the trails as well.

Our room was clean, had a comfortable bed, the best pillows in a hotel that I've seen for a long time, nice sheets, small fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker, nice towels and plenty of soap. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan, up on a tall stand that could be used if it were hot. I doubt...

A hidden gem - room was immaculate; recent remodel. Paint and carpet appeared new.2nd floor looked out to lake/town instead of parking area. Stairway at each end instead of one. Very comfortable and spacious room. Shower spray nice. Room contained fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Free bagged ice available in office. Owners very friendly and knowledgeable of town eateries,...

This motel has 10 well maintained units. Our second story room was super clean, good bed, nice bath towels and a view of the bay! Friendly and helpful owners, Delphine and Terry, also provide well maintained sauna and hot tub. Pictured Rocks hikes, Manistique canoe trips and Seney Wildlide Drive easily accessible from here. Short walk into town of Grand...

The room is very large with everything you need. It has a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and is very spacious. Our room was so clean. You can tell the owners take very good care of this property. The Voyageurs Motel had all the things I find most important in a motel or hotel; a comfortable bed, a very clean room and bath, convenient location to our activities and many amenities I hope for. The room had, and we used, the mini refrigerator and the coffee maker. A bonus was the water is the room was good enough...

Thank you for the wonderful review we appreciate it a lot. We do have blow driers in the office for customers use. We have looked at the driers in the motel books but I really can't find a good spot where they wouldn't be knocked down or in the way but we will keep this on our to do list....

We are fond of Grand Marais as a quiet base for hiking, beach, an relaxing. It was our first time at Voyageurs Motel, and I would be happy to return. As other reviews indicate, the room was spacious, well-maintained and clean. The sauna room and large hot tub was a welcome bonus.

Grand Marais is very small with not a lot of choices, but I am so glad we chose this motel. Spacious room, comfortable and very clean. The best part? The amazing view. Sunset, sunrise and lots of beautiful views of the Harbor and Lake Superior in between. Planning to go again, just so I can take in the view and...

Our brief stay was very nice. The owners were very friendly and the location is beautiful. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only complaint is that the mini fridge was on the floor, rather than elevated, making it a little hard to access. We arrived fairly late on a Sunday night after a long day and were afraid...
