We travel with a dog, and sometimes the motels that take dogs are not as desirable as one could wish. The Woodland Motor Lodge was outstanding! The room was well designed, the bed was very comfortable, there was a self-sufficient little kitchen-dining area, and the bathroom was beautiful. The decor was in keeping with a cabin in the woods. The... More

We wanted something out of the way and off the beaten path. Woodland Motor Lodge fit the bill. We checked in after 7. The owner was there at the desk ready to help and answer any questions. She told us it was a family business and her son often helped at the desk after my traveling companion noticed the high... More

Been staying here for 13 years for our annual fly fishing trips. Always clean. Always accommodating. Great value. Owners and staff will take care of your needs and provide advice on new area restaurants and attractions. Refrigerators and microwaves in each room. Free high speed internet.

My wife loves to see the fall colors. Due to a slew of issues, we weren't able to get a jump on reserving a room early and the Woodland was about our only option. And as options go, it wasn't half bad. The owners are nice and accommodating. The price per pet -- $5 -- is more than reasonable. The... More

I hadn't planned on staying in Grayling but decided to stop driving after it got dark. Based on the reviews I stopped by Woodland for a room. I got room 21 which was not on the highway but located behind the building on the highway and one of the rooms closest to that building. I did hear an occasional truck... More

We stayed in Cabin 32 for two nights starting last Sunday based on other TripAdvisor reviews. It definitely met our expectations. Very very clean, comfortable beds, and a nice hot shower. Couldn't ask for anything more. We had two dogs with us and it was very convenient for them because they could just go right outside. Small deck on the... More

The reviews were spot on. The sheets were soft, the place was clean and very well kept. The room we stayed in was large and spacious and included a pull out couch. We got in late and only spent one night, but would stay here again!

The owners of this place are fantastic! My kids and I stayed in one of the cabins and it was just perfect!! The beds were comfortable and my son just loved "the little house". It was very clean and cozy and I would definitely and have recommended this place to others. There was a little play area for the kids... More

We were so satisfied with these accommodations. The sheets and pillows were so nice I wanted to take them with me! Bed was comfortable. Room was simple and small, but clean. Good choice of TV stations. Quiet room away from the busy road. We only stayed for one night as we passed through town, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay... More

Good reviews were what helped me decide to book this hotel. It was everything expected and more. The price was very reasonable. Clean room. The lady who runs the place was friendly. There is a shared picnic area with a charcoal grill where utensils were available. There was corn hole and horse shoe pits for those needing a little distraction.
