The Winter Inn has been around since 1902 and there is no shortage of historical atmosphere. Rooms are on the moderately small size but do not lack in comfort. The bar downstairs is lively and the menu is very good w/ good prices. I've stayed...More

Stayed one night in room #9. Classic old hotel, bed was OK, pillows a little firm. Walls are paper thin and can hear your neighbors and the Bar downstairs. Nice location downtown. Some great old photos and furniture to look at.

The service is fantastic, the food is exceptional, the room is very clean but far far too hot, a little dated but very comfortable, the bed is huge and really comfortable I love it here, well worth the visit even just for the restaurant

I attended lunch on a Sunday afternoon with a large church group. The service was great. We were attended to regularly even though they had a full bar and two other large groups to serve as well as normal customer numbers. The food was great....More

Had dinner on the bar side. The service was great and the food was okay. Their drinks (mixed) seem a little steep priced for the area. I like the old decor but it's pretty dark in there for me. I won't rush back there.
