I live nearby and stayed here under emergency conditions. The staff of this hotel behaves more like the managers of some sleezy place in a bad area than a decent hotel in a respectable community. I am appalled.

Room is nice clean, easy to get out on motorway and plenty great foods/restaurant near Grosse Pointe. I asked reception for taxi with my difficult hearing on phone. Reception and staff had been helpful & friendly.

We were visiting friends and this was the closest hotel so we took a chance. After reading some reviews I was very concerned about staying here. The lobby is old and dated and the 1/2 inch thick glass between the check in person and me didn't make me feel very confident. We got into our room and were very impressed....

Location, location and location was the sole factor for my choice of this hotel. The Parkcrest has been around since the 1960's and has served the Grosse Pointes as one of the only hotel/motel choices convenient to the city. A medical condition makes driving for me difficult and I do not feel comfortable in rental vehicles that I am not...

Where to begin. First off, the room they had us check into was still being cleaned. Which is fine, if they were busy. They weren't. Tons of empty rooms so why have us wait for the room to be cleaned. Next, saying the room was "cleaned" it quite subjective, I suppose. I promise you, to any normal person...this is not...

My family enjoyed our recent vacation. The bathroom was clean, which is always the first thing i check. The bed was clean as well, and the sheets didn't smell like bleach like all of the other hotels I have been to. It smelled really good and It was nice for the price. The room was advertised as stated with 2...

We made a reservation over the weekend for the Parkcrest mostly because it is the only hotel in the vicinity. We were a family of three and there was only one towel. It's was small still like that, that was annoying. Since it is the only hotel in the vicinity it is extremely busy during the prom season and well...

Do not stay here! Big southern roaches coming out of the tub drain. When I saw them I hopped up grabbed my things, shook them off and ran to the front desk! The man who I believe was the owner, acted like it wasnt a big deal! They took about a week to refund my money back to the account!

Disgusting accommodations, but nothing else in the area. Did not feel safe due to all night comings and goings. Would not consider using the shower. Heater makes huge noise and runs all night. Automatic "Air freshner" unit sprayed toxic chemical into unit all night.
