Nice value for the price. Sounding proofing was a bit of a problem when having a room with internal doors to an adjoining room. Breakfast was great, staff was friendly. Had to ask for clean towels though during a multiple day stay.
We were highly impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The front desk staff were very accommodating. Great location to the soccer tournament. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great quality
We desperately needed a place to stay with our 3 cats after a house fire, and I'm so glad we ended up here! The employees were all very helpful and polite, and this is a great area for shopping and restaurants. The rooms were also neat and tidy, along with being surprisingly private with thick curtains and decent sound dampening. It's not 100% silent, of course, but it's still pretty quiet for being so close to major roads. There's a relatively private patch of grass out back where you can walk your dog(s). We didn't end up using the pool or laundry, but those are also great features to have. My only real problem was that our neighbors' dogs were noisy, but that's to be expected in a place that allows pets. (One of our cats decided to yodel at 9 in the morning, so our animals weren't exactly perfect hotel guests either!)…
good place i was just not happy with the location of my room, middle of second floor with no middle access to get to it. there are alot of places to eat there. and an emagine theater right down the street, along with a meijers, and they have a pool.
I pulled in to the under cover check in area, and I was warmly greeted at the counter. Lobby is large and nicely decorated. Check in was a breeze as I already had a reservation. Our room was spotlessly clean, everything in good working order. Double curtains closed tightly to block light and add as a bit of a sound barrier. Towels and sheets laundered perfectly. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.
This hotel is always clean and quite. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Close to lots of food shopping. Close to Ann Arbor. Lots to do in the area year round. Not far from down town Detroit.
The room was dirty - the floors looked like they weren't vacuumed in forever and the in room hot tub was dirty - long hairs everywhere and it was slimly. What a waste of money. Also, someone in the park lot right in front of our room at 2 Am working on their car with power tools.
Dirty room. broken toilet seat, dirty heating and ac unit. Would not stay on until I removed the dirty filters. This hotel is not worth coming to. better off anywhere else. Even the water is so soft that you feel you can never rinse the soap off of you.
The staff were very friendly..helpful..understand.. The pool was large..wish it was heated And wish the room was cleaned when qe were in it..may be a covid issue Every member of the staff were vwry helpful from management sown to someone working the laundry area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. I give this a 5 star and highly recommend this motel
I guess you get what you pay for. We were traveling home from vacation, and spent the first night at this Best Western Hotel for 1 night because the price seemed right. The bathroom had mold in the shower, there was mold at the bottom of the outside door, the carpet and upholstered chair were in need of a cleaning, the furniture was worn and scratched, and the fee that we were told for having a dog with us was $5.00 more than what I was quoted on the phone upon making the reservation. The bed was comfortable, and the free breakfast was okay - typical hotel food. I would not recommend staying at this location in Harland, MI.
