The hotel is right down town and has been redone. The pool area and exercise areas are great. The shower and toilet area are really small, but the folks working the desk and the breakfast lady, Donna, were great. Donna made us feel like we were guest in her own home. She was fantastic. For no other reason, go because...

This is probably the most overpriced hotel I've ever stayed in. It is an old motel that has been remodeled, but it can't overcome problems like tiny bathrooms, noisy rooms, and inconvenient parking. Our room had fruit flies. The beds were comfortable and hot breakfast items were available, but I would consider this an $80/night hotel charging twice that based...

We stayed at the "new and completely remodeled" hotel. It was just OK!! The carpeting had not been replaced. They did, however, replace the old CRT TV sets with lcd tvs. Too bad they did not set them up correctly. The picture on the new set was very small and didn't come close to filling the screen. The bed was...

First stay in the hotel. It has had some recent renovations. Not sure what has changed. Lobby area looked updated but musty oder. Staff was good and cookies in lobby. Layout of property is kind of unusual. Room was acceptable. Low ceiling in room was kind of different and made noise from room above seem "closer". Parking can be tight...

Good location on the main drag, a brief walk from restaurants and Keewenaw Brewing Company. Spillover parking is in an adjacent public deck (free). Ample-size room with mini-fridge, microwave, desk, armchair. Exercise room has freeweights, strider, bike, bench. Breakfast choices include scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, self-made waffles (two machines), fruit, Yoplait yogurt, pastries, English muffins, bagels, doughnuts. A few...

Creatively adapted remodel of an old building. Great location. Clean, except for the mildew smell coming from the bathroom fan. Cannot open room windows to outside air, they open to the enclosed walkways and stairwells. Gets stuffy, and I don't like runnung the air cond all the time. Great people.

Dear NatalieJSP, Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are glad to hear you enjoyed our convenient downtown location and friendly staff. Being able to walk to shops and and restaurants is a plus for our guests! Also the bathroom fan has now been addressed with housekeeping and fixed. Thank you again...

The facility is off the beaten path, so provides quiet for sleeping, and spectacular views of the lake. It's literally footsteps away. You can sleep with the windows open and enjoy the cool air and wake up to water lapping on the shore. Staff friendly and helpful.

Recently remodeled, all new exterior/interior and upgraded pool. This is the only place we stay at when visiting Mich Tech. Park the car and do a pub crawl. Parking is tight, especially in the winter with all the snow.

We stayed here knowing their construction was complete. Our first room had bare drywall, incomplete painting, disgusting Windows, and dirty sheets. We were moved to two different rooms. Each had old wooden doors with marks all over them. Our kids would t even cover up with the sheets because they were grossed out. They advertise that they have a sauna,...
