This is a nice little hotel. pool was broken. breakfast was extremely minimal but the staff was super friendly, helpful and kind. the breakfast guy was so kind! rooms were clean. we felt safe. it is literally across from the outlets - right there. close to restaurants too
Metal piece sticking up in concrete in middle of front door entrance causers severe fall. Hit head facedown on concrete tripped on both legs from metal piece sticking up. Bad nose bleeding and severe bruising entire body
Clean and comfortable, great front desk staff, friendly and helpful . Shopping at the outlet mall was a bonus and great restaurants close by. Freeway is very close to get where you need to go Will stay at this hotel when I visit again.
Selected hotel for location and price. Location was right off the expressway I-96 and was adjacent to a Outlet mall mall that was enjoyed by many of the families that we traveling in our group. You could walk from the hotel parking lot.
Stayed at Baymont Hotel to attend a wedding and was very surprise how clean, and friendly staff. The hotel is located walking distance to outlet mall which was nice and it was only 15 mins from where the wedding was held too. Since we were out and about majority of time, felt very secure, rooms were very clean and again staff members were very friendly and eager to accommodate us. thank you.
Stayed for the weekend to visit family in the area and was one of the last places open to book a room (graduation weekend-duh!). This is not my usual go-to hotel chain but I didn't have much choice so I took a chance. Here are my takeaways: Pros: 1.) The front desk staff was extremely personable. They handled my later-than-expected check-in quickly and kindly and were upbeat and pleasant at breakfast as well. 2.) The pool was open. This is saying a LOT coming out of the pandemic, as it is hard to find a hotel that has one functioning yet. 3.) The beds were clean and very comfy. Good pillows too! 4.) The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but they had enough odds and ends to choose from to keep me from starving. Plus they get points for actually having real half and half at the coffee station. 5.) The hotel was easy to access from the highway and is very close to Tanger Outlets if you want to do some shopping. Cons: 1.) Very dated. Like VERY. 2.) The rooms are clean enough, but lacking a lot of love overall. 3.) My room had a strange odor when I entered it. Not a super gross smell, but maybe just old? I have no idea. 4.) Upon further inspection, I noticed the chair in my room had food stains on it, the desk chair had most of its pleather worn off of it and the linoleum on the bathroom floor had gouges and burn marks in it. Consider yourself warned. 5.) Noise level from the hallway was a lot higher than I am used to. But it could also have been because my room was pretty close to the elevators - and there were a bunch of families with kids staying at the hotel. 6.) No USB plugs in the rooms. None. Don't even bother looking. Other notes: The hallways are currently being redone, and will be really nice once finished. I hadn't noticed the 8x10 piece of paper taped to the entry door stating this at first, but after realizing this, it relieved a lot of my initial shock. I would highly suggest putting signs like this in the location where the work is actually being done. I really doubted the integrity of this hotel when I saw paint all over the carpet and all the door numbers duct-taped to the doors and thought that was just the norm. In hindsight, all in all, I slept well, but I would not stay here again unless I absolutely had to.…
The facilities were good but having it ready when you arrive would be nice. There's nothing that can prepare you for a long day needing rest and you arrive an hour later than planned and your room is still not ready.
Our room was adequate enough. We only had one towel for a 2 person stay. Was told they would bring us one when laundry load was finished but never followed through. The deadbolt would not engage. TV reception was non existent. Place definitely looks rundown. There was a musty smell and evidence of water leaks on the ceiling. There were several wasp nests under the eaves (not sure they can be seen in photo attached). Cigarette butts littered near front. From my experience I would not recommend.
Avoid this place. Worth about $60 a night. Dirt on the quilt. Bathroom was gross and the breakfast was really bad. Whole place and staff smelled like pot. Non smoking floors smelled like every kind of smoke. Very bad stay.
The hotel staff was very nice and the rooms was clean. Had a nice breakfast. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there. There was a Tanger's outlet that was right in front of the hotel. The swimming pool was also very nice.
