Hotel is dated, but clearly well taken care of and clean. It was an excellent value for a last minute trip.

we stayed 3 nights. I placed a piece of paper on the floor next to the bed. It was there when we left. the mirror in the room looked like someone smoked in there for days. What the hell do they call a breakfast? toast and coffee? Oh yeas, apple juice if it is filled.

I've stayed here before and had bed bug bites and bed bugs in our bed. We were comped our room but this time i had a couple issues that were ignored. We haf bugs once again and couldn't sleep to the person above me. Both complaints were ignored.

Staff were friendly. After 10PM, only the front door can be used. There is not security at entry doors (they are left unlocked until 10PM so anyone could wander in). Furniture and rooms are dated, stained and dingy.

I have stayed here many times over the years when I go to visit friends in Grand Rapids. This Travelodge is one of a few motels that take larger pets. Very clean, quiet, etc...Friendly staff.
