New hotel with huge rooms that are modern and nicely decorated. I had no view to speak of, but a massive window and it’s honestly one of the largest Hilton rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I used the gym which was fairly well equipped. They did have a spin bike, which was nice. Within walking distance to the downtown shopping area (although I didn’t get the sense people walk around town much). The parking was VERY confusing to me, as I was arriving very late and there wasn’t even a place to pull in to check in and get a sense of what to do. But it’s actually quite simple: street parking across the street that’s metered during the day, and a parking garage with a pedestrian bridge to the hotel. I’d stay here again if I ever had reason to be in the area.

Room Tip: See parking notes before arriving! I tried calling the hotel but no one answered and I didn’t...

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed just one night after a tour at WMU. The hotel was just what we needed for a relaxing night. The hotel is very modern and beautifully decorated. Room was spacious and comfortable. Lobby is huge, with plenty of seating. We did not eat at the hotel, but we did have a couple of drinks at the bar. The hotel was VERY CLEAN. I saw an employee cleaning the lobby constantly while people were checking in. The only minor inconvenience is paying for parking at the deck across the street, but that's to be expected for a downtown hotel. Hotel is walking distance to several brew pubs and some restaurants. The workout room was on the small side but we were able to use the treadmill and bikes. Really happy with our stay, and we will be back! I tried to use the digital key on the Hilton app, but it was not working. The staff said there were issues. Guess I will try it next time.

New Property. Great Rooms and decor. Small Pool. Great workout facilities. Nice service. Hotel restaurant was very expensive. Breakfast was crazy expensive for what was offered. Nothing complementary.

The 26 minute flight from Chicago to Grand Rapids took 2+ hours so we arrived 60 miles away with no uber, no cabs, no nothing. Called the hotel to cancel and SHAWNTEL became my new best friend We worked out transportation and she greeted us in the lobby with keys and water and even ice in hand at 2:30 AM and we collapsed into our quite nice beds in our quite nice room. Awakened to a best ever ham and cheese omelet the next morning. Both days breakfast's were great as was the bar and snack area. A very well managed property with happy staff a block from Amtrak station..
