I used to stay here often on business. I usually stay at Marriott properties if possible. This stay was a personal stay with my wife. This hotel is not that old, but it is starting to show wear. There was a tear in the carpeting in our room and the bed squeaked and and was softer than Marriott's usual standard. The shower head is so high that my wife could not reach it to make any adjustments. We had a first floor room and the guests upstairs were apparently moving furniture until after 10:00 at night (I would always advise asking for a room on the top floor). We also heard a lot of noise in the halls. The room just did not seem well insulated. The thermostat also had two settings, heat or air conditioning. If it was too hot, you got air conditioning. It was 10 degrees outside, so this was very unpleasant. If it was too cool, the heat blasted (even with the fan on low) to the point it just dried out your sinuses. There was an additional issue with the kitchen, but I am sure it was a "one off". The staff was great, the breakfast was good and this hotel has good access to I-94 and US-131, which makes it easy to get around. However, there is a Fairfield right next door that is less expensive and a little newer. I also have not been there recently, but I will try to stay there next time and skip this hotel.

Our room was downright disgusting. It looks like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was food in the AC unit, splatter marks on the TV's, and ants in the kitchen and bathroom. The sofa and sofa pillow also had stains all over them. Additionally, there was dog poop all over the place outside. The only good thing I can say is the staff was friendly and agreed the condition in our room and the hotel grounds was not good. Avoid this place at all costs. I have never paid so much money to stay in such a terrible place.

Booked on priceline for my sister coming from Ohio for July 23, 2020. Coming to bury nephew who was murdered, reservation was smooth. However, check-in said room was clean sanitized for Covid. But the room had not been clean towels everywhere, bed unmade, food container and trash still in the room. Switched to another room and it smelled moldy, dusty and you could tell it had not been used for a while because of the older furnishing. Want a refund but Priceline has not return my money. It should be rated a half a star.

So many things wrong I don’t even know where to start. 1. Garbage can outside the front door overflowing 2. No plastic cups or coffee mugs in the room 3. The shower head has no pressure 4. The isn’t enough hot water, the shower was barely hot 5. The towels are stored above the toilet that does not had a lid 6. When sitting on the toilet you get to see yourself in the mirror 12” from you 7. The fitted sheets don’t fit 8. The pillows are terrible 9. The beds are uncomfortable 10. The WORST thing - THE WHOLE HOTEL REEKS OF WEED. Absolutely unacceptable

Hair on towels. TV doesn’t work. Odor in elevator. Took four calls to front desk to get a response. Told sorry about my luck that TV doesn’t work. No amenities as advertised because of covid. Slow, slow internet without paying up charge. Definitely will not be staying here again.
