Pros- Very clean. Room size was adequate. Plenty of outlets were accessible.
Cons- No towel bars by the sink Surprisingly for a commercial property, it didn't seem to have a non- slip surface in the shower/bathtub. Gets very slippery during shower.

This hotel offers everything you could want at a reasonable price: indoor pool, laundry, wi-fi, breakfast, game room, fitness center, and more. It is located on a main street not far from downtown Ludington (too far to walk). The rooms were large, clean, modern, and had a mini refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast currently is a choice of items for a 'brown bag' type meal. The regular buffet is still restricted due to Covid. We did have trouble with our room key. We stayed for three nights and when we arrived back late the first night, neither of our key cards would open the door. Our room was at the far end of the hotel on the third floor and we had to go back to the front desk to get new card keys made. Apparently they didn't make the key so it would work for three nights. The next night when we arrived back late at night we had the same problem. We could understand this happening once, but not twice. The rooms were only cleaned every three days. I don't need the towels changed daily, nor the bedding. But I sure like to have my bed made for me. To me, not having to make the bed every morning is one of the great things about going on vacation.

Was in town to visit with an ailing relative and it turned into a funeral visit so we ended up staying far longer than expected. The staff was both amazing and accommodating with our long stay.
The grounds were clean and well kept, the breakfast area was clean and stocked, hot coffee and tea was always available. The evening cookies were a hit! Love how the "Kidsuite" rooms were a bit separated from the others and gave them easy access to the pool and arcade. Whoever thought of this deserves a medal. Hotel is pet friendly so be prepared to see furbabies and hear a bark every now and then.
Housekeeping was available when requested and left us alone when not requested. Every employee we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and above all, compassionate to our situation. The hotel was easy to access off the highway from either direction and there was always ample parking. Lots of places to eat in short walking distance. I would recommend your hotel to anyone and will stay here when visiting in the future.

My family and I stayed at Ludington's Comfort Inn for one night as a planned stop on our way up to northern Michigan in July 2020. The location is right on the main street heading through Ludington, and it's within minutes to the beach, shops and restaurants. This was our first hotel stay since COVID began, and we were aware that the complimentary breakfast would be modified and that the pool would be closed. Check-in was mostly efficient. The front desk was busy when we arrived, but we didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and had plenty of space for the three of us. One issue we encountered was after we collected our grab-and-go breakfast to take back to our room (the dining area was closed), we realized that the microwave in our room was unplugged. In order to plug it in, you had to either unplug the TV or the mini fridge since there was only one outlet located near these three electronics. The outlet was inconveniently located behind a large piece of furniture housing these three electronics, so it was a bit of a headache to get one thing unplugged to plug in the microwave. It would be nice if the hotel could invest in more outlets or something similar so all three could be plugged in at the same time. We also encountered guests smoking too close to the hotel's entrances and exits. Maybe there should be a designated smoking area with seating located at the back of the parking lot to encourage guests to stay away from the doors. Otherwise, our stay was quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Wanted to stay here for years and finally made it. They have put some $$$ into this place. Most of it seemed to be newly gone thru. Large parking lot. Good electronic door system. You felt safe here. Turning on the television was a nightmare—somebody got took getting that system. We stay in probably 50 motels per year and this was the worst!! Slept well. Room was rather large. Breakfast was disappointing. View choices, uninspired food—with the price we paid you can do better than that.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament. The hotel was very clean and the kids loved the pool area. It could be a little lighter in the pool room as it is hard to watch kids with the darkness. The staff was outstanding, positive, willing to help and so accommodating. The location is great near restaurants and US10. The manager worked with our group to make it a great experience for all. The breakfast is very minimal, could be expanded and refilled quicker when it is busy, but that is expected when large amounts of people are all eating at once. We will definitely share this hotel with others and will book again in the future.

We stayed here one night before taking the SS Badger to Wisconsin the next morning. The room was nice and clean and the staff was helpful. The continental breakfast the next morning was good with a waffle maker, bacon, juice, etc. It looked like a very family friendly hotel with a game room for kids and something called Kid Suites. My only complaint was that it seems quite expensive. It was $300 for one night! But it was during Labor Day weekend so maybe that is why.

This hotel is losing its special touch. Our room smelled like stinky feet. Bathroom floors were dirty. Pool and hot tub was dirty. Little ants eating food off the floor. Marijuana smelled thru the whole 2nd floor. Not a good experience 😔. Don't think we will be returning. Beds were hard and pillows went fluffy to flat.

We have stayed at this hotel for years even when it was a Holiday Inn. It has been standing the test of time but we noticed several things last weekend that were disappointing. The room was too warm and humid despite trying to lower the thermostat. The shower nozzle must've been broken because the water came out slowly and unevenly. It was difficult to rinse the soap off. The lamp beside the bed needed a new light bulb. The pool area didn't have enough tables but countless chairs which looked odd. The vending machine didn't have bottled water. There were no bananas on the breakfast buffet. All these things made us wonder if this Comfort Inn is on the down slide. Could it be lack of good management and workers?

Yes we do have 2 rooms suites. We only have 2 on property, we do have other room types the offer different "sections" of the room like a bed area and a couch with sitting area. Also a kids suite that has a bed area and a separate bunk-bed area.
