We love this spot for camping and find it such an enjoyable spot with varied activities! The bike paths, fishing, sun bathing, Lake Michigan beach, hiking trails, kayaking, and well-run facilities make it a hit for campers! Make your reservations EARLY - reservations fly!

Great place to stay really enjoyed our time there, would defiantly be worth your time. Lots to see and do, even in the off season. Lots of trails for walking and trails for biking. Great beach and sunset.

The park is awesome - been traveling Michigan my whole life and this may be the nicest beach I've been to. Not to mention having the campground basically back right up to it. Trails are beautiful with lots of options, great places to bike with the family (no real mountain bike terrain, though). The campgrounds are VERY congested, though. About...

This park is clean and well maintained. The trails are incredible. This is our second time here and will come back again. You have many access sites to hit the beach. I love Ludington. A wonderful place for all ages!

Swimming at the mouth of the river where it feeds into Lake Michigan was the family favorite. The endless beach along Lake Michigan and the dune walk to the lighthouse were great too. The smaller beach on Hanlon lake was great too. We enjoyed and will be back.

Well it would be redundant to say at this point that the park is spectacular with amazing views. We camped here for two nights on Beechwood campground. Campground is very spacious and very private, clean bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The customer service can't get better than this. For the Lake Michigan beach access you can either go...

We took a 5-night road trip exploring the sunset coast of Michigan and spent one night camping here. We reserved a campsite in Beechwood several weeks earlier and had intentions to hike but had no idea what to expect. SPOILER ALERT: It was wonderful! Even before we arrived at our campsite, we knew we'd come back in the future. This...

We camped at the beechwood campground and it was perfect. We were right next to lost lake and Hamlin lake. We floated and swam all day. You can rent kayaks and tubes. The sand dunes are amazing. I would recommend bringing the whole family!

This was a really nice park and not too crowded. A ride in tubes on the lake looked like great relaxing fun but we were not able to partake as we had a dog with us. Great easy trails to hike with pet and places to let dog go into the lake.

My family and I had a wonderful time camping for the first time at Ludington State Park. The camp grounds them selves vary from site to site but generally offer the same amenities; power for RVs and Campers, showers and bathrooms, picnic tables, and fire pits. The on-site "camp store" was a nice discovery for those few items we forgot...
