The beds were very comfy and the rooms were super cute and clean but the real story here was what was happening outside. The grounds here are remarkable. The owners definitely take pride in making sure that every blade of grass and every flower, bush and tree are perfectly manicured. The lawn is extremely plush with adirondack chairs strategically placed...

My husband and I stayed one night on the island and based on tripadvisor reviews, chose the Metivier Inn. The grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers and the place seemed well taken care of. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It was one of the few places on the island that had AC. I'm 7 months...

We stayed at the Metiever Inn for a couple of nights and had a great time! The room was very clean and nice; comfy bed. The service was great, breakfast was awesome😉 They even had fresh water and delicious fudge available to the guests! The location was perfect, close to all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely recommend it

The inn and hosts are wonderful. Great location close to main street, but much more peaceful. Comfortable bed. Smallish room, but that is the norm for a B & B. Nice hot breakfast too. Large front porch facing the street for watching the horse carriages go by. Would definitely come back.

My college roommate and I do a little reunion trip every June, and this year we went to Mackinac Island, somewhere I had dreamed of visiting for 30 years. The whole island is magical - horses and flowers and hiking and history and beauty all around - but as we drove home the 500 miles to Buffalo yesterday, we agreed...

Clean rooms Good location on the island. Great breakfast. Very happy host we have been coming here for several years. It gets better. We go back often during the summer. Spring. And fall not so much. You will see the owners at times. Visit with you like your family. There is much more. ---------:------

When you arrive at Metivier Inn, you feel like you've come home. Dave and Blanca treat everyone like family. We had a difficulty and they went the extra mile (really a FEW extra miles) to help us and make our stay comfortable. We keep coming back because of the service including the fantastic breakfast. We have never been disappointed and...

We stayed here a few nights. It is one block from downtown, so very convenient to walk anywhere. The hosts were delightful and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and the atmosphere laid back and relaxing. A nice long porch out front for dining, reading or just watching the buggies go by. Rooms were great. I would definitely stay with...

Pros: 1) we stayed in room 4. The room had a queen size bed, its own washroom (with a tub and shower), and it was a good size room. It was quiet too. 2) breakfast was different every morning and was very good. It was buffet style. 3) beautiful inn, beautiful gardens. 4) on a quieter street right off of...

The service we received from the beginning of our stay was polite and welcoming. The inn keepers did everything that they could to to make our stay comfortable. Our room was wonderful. We were able to lay in bed and watch the full moon cross the sky. The buffet breakfast was very good and the afternoon sweets delightful. It is...
