Beautiful accommodations and staff are top notch. The area is beautiful and so is the resort. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and recommend a getaway here. Many things to do and see, wish we had more time to spend here as the weather was beautiful, and so are their surroundings

Customer service was 5 stars!!!! This place is very clean, and staffed by awesome people. The hot tub/pool is really nice. We went for snowmobile weekend as trails are only about 8 minutes away. We had to leave early due to blizzard & the front desk gave us our money back. Was not expecting that. Stayed in a suite room (highly recommend) has 2 areas, huge living space & then 2 beds. They are pet friendly so that was a huge plus for us. Super nice place, would stay again!

We stayed 4 days in early December 2021. Rooms were exceptionally clean, staff was nothing but accommodating. The continental breakfast in the morning is a nice plus. The grounds and building are beautifully kept. The mattresses were just replaced and the sleep quality was great - very quiet. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in northern Michigan.

This hotel is marvelous. The people are friendly, service was over the top. It is spotlessly clean and the beds are comfortable with high quality cotton bedding. We ate at the restaurant every night because the food was so good; we had to try everything. There is a peanut butter cheese cake that I am still thinking about. Restaurant prices were reasonable, portions were large. Loved the pool ane the hot tub.

What would have improved this hotel is a real breakfast with better coffee and fresh food. I get spoiled by Italian breakfasts. Lots of waste with the styrofoam and plastic cups and everything was wrapped in plastic. Maybe due to the COVID. It was nice to have ice water, tea, coffee, milk and yoghurt available all day. Internet was spotty, don't rely on it.

Great service from Doug and his staff. Rooms adequate for golfers needing to rest up for the 2 fantastic courses. Two pools and hot tub used extensively by our group of 28 and restaurant served tasty dishes and great beers. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

When I checked in, the hotel employee who checked me in (and also happened to book my reservation), was relieved to see me. The story: she wasn't supposed to book my reservation that far in advance, or book me for only an one-night stay. She told me that the hotel management charged me for the night before (which I never reserved) and was so afraid of getting in trouble. When I checked out, they reversed partially the charge for the previous night. I didn't catch it until I got back home that my quoted rate suddenly increased by 30%. When I called the hotel to dispute the charge, he told me that he explained it to me when I was checking out (I don't recall). Regardless, a business can't suddenly increase a rate after the service has already been consumed, AND for a mistake that they made.

Last minute business trip to the Manistee area which involved long hours. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were clean. I have informed the manager that I would definitely like to come back for a leisure visit. The golf course looked amazing from my room view.

Royal Oak, Michigan
Is this mainly a golf resort?
Answer from DBell2
Manistee, Michigan, United States1 contribution1 helpful vote
Yes we are a golf resort offering 36 holes. We have a 42 room Inn on property and have guests stay that are golfing and many that are either in town on business or vacationing in the area. So we have a nice blend of guests from all over. We also have a full service restaurant on site and a special events outdoor tent with a 250 person capacity for large events. You and see our website for visuals and more details. Thanks for asking. Doug

Is this a dog friendly inn?
Answer from DBell2
Manistee, Michigan, United States1 contribution1 helpful vote
Yes we are a Pet friendly Inn, thanks for inquiring. We have a dog run just off the north end of our property and at times, many of our guests are able to walk their dogs on the golf courses in the evenings or early mornings for exercise. We do have a small pet fee in addition to the room rates, our Front desk staff would be happy to assist you and explain the rates.
