The rooms were nice and clean. The first room our heater did not work. The owner had said he rented the room the night before with no problem. He moved us to a room upstairs so we could stay close to the pool. The 2nd room was a lot smaller. The beds and pillows were not great as we did...

The room was one of the biggest I have seen at a hotel. It was clean and maintained. The bed was comfortable. There were 2 reclining chairs in the room, what a nice surprise. The heater had the room about 10 degrees warmer than what the thermostat was set for. We cooled off a couple times by opening the door....

Outside entry to room. Clean rooms. Slightly musty odor, but the lake is across the street and you don't notice it after a little bit. Pool access. Restaurant across parking lot ( which you get a discount for as there's no continental breakfast. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and hair dryer in rooms. Pets are allowed for a fee. Free shuttle...

Stayed here on a road trip in August because had pool and hot tub pouring down rain. Guy at desk not overly friendly but ok. First room wasn't clean like he thought toothpaste in sink. So switched to another room. Ok beds old and hard. When I asked if they had free breakfast I was told no but coupon for...

The hotel was nice, great beach across the street. We had a great view of the lake! Only problem was we couldn't keep our window open because of all the smokers on the balcony. The internet was iffy, only worked part of the time.

This place had a nice view of Lake Michigan from only the top floor and only one or two rooms. The private beach is nice as well as clean but across from a very busy road. Air conditioner worked well and was not blowing on you while you lay in the bed. There was a recliner in the room which...

We've stayed here several times on our way from northern MI to MN or WI and each time are so happy to be there. The rooms are clean although a little dated -- after all this is the UP. It has a path to the Lake (MI) across the highway which is nice to enjoy. And, the staff is terrific.

This isn't a chain motel. It is an older building but it has been kept up and modernized. The rooms are quite comfortable and the grounds are kept up quite well. The beach access is a nice touch and the restaurant next door keeps you from having to travel into town to eat.

This may be the best hotel (motel) in the area, unless you would prefer one of the two newer cookie-cutter chain hotels. It's a well-kept 2-story motel, and the manager, Dennis, at the front desk is very helpful. No food served, but right next door is a very good restaurant, 3 Seasons, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A park with...

I was a little skeptical going here after reading the other reviews but it was actually really nice. The beds were a little firm but i wouldn't say they were hard enough to be uncomfortable and the rooms are really clean. the pool and spa area is really nice and you will most likely have the pool to your self....
