If you need to unwind...This is it. Wonderfully restored Inn from 1830's. You feel like you have stepped back in time. House is immaculate, staff welcoming, and the town of Marshall quaint and layed back. Breakfast has options for everyone; fresh fruit, coffee cake, waffles, egg dishes, coffee and tea. This is truly a great find.

Lovely Inn. It is clean, comfy and serves a fine breakfast. The decor echoes its storied past and is very close to downtown Marshall and walking distance to the Dark Horse Brewery. Sync up your stay with one of the Dark Horse Brewery events and you'll have a fabulous weekend!

We always enjoy staying here. We have stayed so many times that we have almost tried every room! We discovered that the best rooms are the ones that do not face the street. The street noise is loud and the street lights light up the whole room. The staff is always very nice, and the owner (Barb) is very friendly....

My wife and I have been staying at inns throughout the United States, Canada and Europe for decades and the National House Inn is truly one of the best. We started staying there in 1982 and have always found it to be the perfect place to escape and relax. Also, Barb is one of the best innkeepers we have encountered...

Having stayed at several B&B's over the years, I just cannot rate the National House Inn any higher than average. It has several rooms, most pretty small. Unexpectedly in a house this old with the thicker walls, we could here the guy next door snoring. Not unexpectedly, the plumbing is extremely loud so if anyone near by is taking a...

This place was stunning. Not one complaint. Clean, comfortable & relaxing describe my stay. The food was delicious & the coffee was hot. I loved the vintage decor! There is a garden seat to enjoy a quiet night. Popcorn is available at night for a treat!

Once again, we stayed at the charming National House Inn in historic Marshall, Michigan. From the minute you step into the candle-lit lobby and see the fireplace blazing, you sense the history of the building. From the original plank flooring, handcrafted paneled cupboards and antique decor to the intriguing layout of this historic building, the atmosphere evokes an earlier time...

Unbelievably charming Bed and Breakfast that served as a stagecoach stop in 1835, and many things over the years. The National House Inn boasts period furnishings in various rooms and suites with bath facilities modern...but not exactly state of the art. There are two dozen unique rooms, and we've stayed in almost every one! The breakfast is to die for,...

I'll start with what a great place this is and the owner Barb really cares about the Inn and her customers. When we stopped to see if we could get in at 1:40 since we had eaten at Schuller's noon buffet, a lady whose name starts with a D told us check in is 3:00. She proceeds to tell us...

This old bed & breakfast inn has about the longest history of any inn/hotel in Michigan. It was built in 1835, and was the halfway point between Detroit & Chicago on the stagecoach trail. It has been restored with most modern conveniences (cable TV, shower/tub, central heating, etc), while still maintaining the ambience of an historical inn. Pictures of George...
