We started staying at the National House in 1978. At the time the only room we could afford was the Adams Crosswhite room!! And to us it was Heaven. We have revisited many times since then and have stayed in virtually every room. So 38 years later it is one of our 5star accomodations and we could not recommend it...

Great B&B steeped in history. The Inn has been open for lodging since the early 1835. A two story multi-room inn it has space to grab a spot of tea, or coffee in the morning into the evening. Historic inn with a nice team managing the daily needs of its guests.

This was our first time to the National House Inn. We had a wonderful time! From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out we found the owner and her staff welcoming, kind and helpful. The Inn has many unique qualities to explore and the homemade breakfast was delicious!

This BB is in the perfect location and close to everything. It is a really old house with creaky floors and character. The best part about this place was the staff, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room was great and the bed and sheets super comfortable.

Why would you stay in one of those polyester motels when you could have a lovely historic setting with comfort, hospitality and luxury for similar pricing? Barb went above and beyond to make me comfortable and ensure that my stay was the best possible.

My friend and I stayed here for a girls' getaway and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The innkeepers were so friendly and all the rooms oozed character and comfort. The breakfast was so delicious and the location was great for strolling around Marshall. I can't recommend this place enough.

The good: This B & B has a lot of history and much of the place is kept in the period. It is located in a great location across from a park and within walking distance of uptown, restaurants and many shops. Had no problem with our room even though it sat really close to a main road where we...

I stayed at National House Inn last night. My boyfriend and I traveled to Marshall for their annual Christmas parade and to do some shopping. Marshall is such a charming town at Christmas and National House Inn added even more Christmas charm! The Inn is cozy and nicely decorated for the holiday. Our room was very, very clean and the staff...

The Inn is really showing its age and doesn't offer much in amenities whatsoever. There is no fridge or microwave in the very small room we were in; and even though it was clean, everything is very outdated. Breakfast was very minimal and nothing to rave about. We went on Halloween night specifically for the so-called haunted reputation, but were...

This was a great way to get away for a limited time. Rooms were awesome and clean. Breakfast home made, was delicious. Pleasant time and we will be back. Consider booking ahead of time. Largest beds available are queen size (still a smaller size). Quaint town, cute shops, a lot of history. Took a ghost carriage ride and would love...
