I travel frequently, this hotel exceeded expectations for 2.5 stars. The Wi-Fi worked really well, this is a huge plus for people who need to work while traveling. The hot tub and pool are a nice plus. There is a nice smell when you come into the rooms. The property is very clean. There is a Wendy’s next to the property, next to the Wendy’s there is a beautiful city park with a Vietnam Memorial ( HeckPark).
Stopped for one night on our way home. Good size room with king size bed. Bed was comfortable. Room had been updated but the bathroom was a bit dated, however, clean and functional and included all amenities. Fridge and microwave in the room. We stayed in room 122 and it was quiet. TV sound kept cutting in and out but that would be the only issue we had.
This Quality Inn & Suites facility gives the impression/feel of a 4 star+ hotel when you enter the lobby. It is very clean/nice and the lobby and breakfast areas look like a restaurant. The room we had was up-to-date, spacious and had all the amenities that we could hope for and then some...especially the small sink area next to the love seat lounging area. Wi-fi was strong/fast, nice large TV and bathroom was laid out in a way that we didn't feel cramped. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and relatives...great price for such a nice place.
Requested 2 easy things in the booking, Smoke-free room and ground floor access for handi cap reasons. Arrived and checked in to find I was on the second floor and that is all they had. Lugged all my stuff up the stairs and opened the door and was hit with a cigarette smell and it was like someone just left the room and smoked a cigarette in it. Carried everything back down and went to the front counter and was given a second room on the second level and the door key reader was broken. A third trip down got a third room and was worse than the first one they gave me of cigarette smell. Told me they would refund my money and after 4 weeks of fighting with them, they only refunded one night!! I'm on disability and live on 1300.00 a month and this place screwed me!! I also found out that they have a deal with the Monroe Probation department and they house all the probations and parolees there as well! DO NOT STAY HERE!!…
Quality Inn delivers again. This location, like others, shows some age but is overall a nice place to stay. After a day of adventuring we wanted to get out of Detroit proper to avoid high hotel costs and Monroe was the perfect distance away on our way home. The room had a mini-fridge with a small freezer space which is always a bonus. Beds were well made and the AC unit kept the room nice and cool. The bathroom was fine, the tub was showing it’s age but delivered good water temperature and pressure. We didn’t use the pool but there were plenty of people there. The ice machine was conventionally located and worked great.
They initially assigned a room already filled. Carried luggage back down and was a second room. Carried everything back up. Got ready for shower and found tub cracked. Cracks large enough and sharp enough to cut. Manager didn’t believe me and I had to take him pictures. His suggestion was to wait until tomorrow to take shower. I insisted on another room. Again hauling everything down again. I went to where the manager said and did not find the room. It was in a different location. Finally got in room and off to dinner ( 1 & 1/2 hour to check in). Then returned to room and found no toilet paper or towels. Manger would not bring to me, walked down and asked if this met his expectations. He shrugged and said he couldn’t do anything about the help. He’s the manager!! I would not give any stars.…
Really enjoyed our one night stay at the Quality Inn in Monroe. Price was very reasonable. Very close to I 75, restaurants. Downtown Monroe is not far away. Room was large, bathroom was nice, but small. Pool is closed due to COVID. Breakfast had pre wrapped items. A masked staff person was available to toast bagels, cook oatmeal and make a plate of hot food. Thought this was a good solution to COVID. We would stay here again.
I have stayed in this hotel numerous times this summer. The staff is amazing!! I want to thank all of the staff for the amazing treatment I receive from the time I walk through the front door. The rooms are perfect. There are restaurants within walking distance. If you are in the area this is a must stay.
BRING A CARD!!! They did not inform me of a $200 deposit until I got here which is 7 hours away from home and not even the worst part but the room down the hall has “caution” tape and a note on the door that says “Evidence do not tamper with” l. We have 2 very young kids and we get the floor with that. Fantastic. Bathtub doesn’t look clean. Could use a scrub. Room number TAPED on the doors on every floor. Couldn’t get any more sketchy than this place.
Very convenient location next to a variety of 24 hours restaurants and the freeway. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Early breakfast starting at 6 am, and good variety of food. Complimentary coffee. Friendly staff. Convenient parking and WiFi included.
