We had two nights here to visit Etosha. The rooms were a bit dark and there were a lot of green bugs, that we couldn't keep out, but still a quite nice location. Food was very good as well as the service. A highlight was the game drive at sundown as we found a leopard and it's meat hanging on...

WOW! What an incredible sighting! Very few people have experienced that, especially in Namibia! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry about the pesky bugs, unfortunately we do not have control over these things and each season has it's challenges in the bush. We hope to see you again.

Onguma Bush Camp is located in the private Onguma game park adjacent Etosha game park. It is one of several accommodations in the private park. Yes, it is easy to drive into Etosha via the nearby Lindequist Gate (extreme eastmost gate to Etosha). However, there is a daily entrance fee to Etosha. Also, there is a roughly 8 km drive...

All facilities were up (and beyond) expectations. Our "small houses" were close to nature to see animals up to our doorsteps. Food was extremely good, service up to the right level and a nice swimming poolr to relax. (Weakest point - as the whole of Namibie: WiFi quality)

This place was 5 Star all the way right from the easy drive in and the proximity to the Van Lindquist gate to Etosha National Park to the beautiful surroundings. The chalet was lovely, comfortable and clean. The service was excellent and the food delicious and beautifuly presented. They accommodated my dietary preferences with the chef even coming to our...

Up at 6am to have coffee on the deck, watching the sun rise as giraffe's wander about in front of us. Awesome! After a few minute drive, we were at the Etosha gate as it opens, and were at the key waterholes by 730am. That is convenience. That is Onguma. After the long days of driving Etosha, back to the...

We booked a view room that was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. This is a first class place with a lovely pool, a restaurant overlooking a water hole and fields beyond that provide an opportunity to watch warthogs, kudus, impalas and even a wildebeest. There are a number of comfortable lounge areas to...

Beautiful views and sunsets over the Onguma Game Reserve. The animals came into the waterhole every evening... you could watch them from the swimming pool. The staff are super friendly and very approachable. In the mornings the staff feed the fish and turtles that literally swim under the restaurant and at night they point out the different animals at the...

We loved it at Onguma bush camp, we stayed in one of the huts for three nights. Great accommodation, friendly staff and we eat some really good food! Located just outside the gate of Etosha - amazing for safari!

My wife, son, and I spent three nights here and everything was fabulous. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the sunsets unforgettable. We especially enjoyed our sunset dinner. Special mention goes out to Simon and Opa. We will definitely be back.

We were here to celebrate New Year. Romantic! Guests were treated to free 'champagne'. The dinner menu made us feel like lords/ladies (delete where applicable). We had a chalet "outside" the secure area -i.e. animals could come right up to our verandah - not that we experienced that, but exciting nevertheless. Very good management and staff. Not cheap. ok pool....
