We stayed here for two nights. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. We saw many animals at the watering hole both in the morning and at night. The dinner and breakfast are buffet style. Breakfast was great. The staff making omelets were friendly and made a great omelet. The buffet at dinner was OK. There was always something...

We stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting Etosha and wished we'd booked to stay for longer. The "waterhole" standard room was nice, although a bit of a squeeze for 2 adults plus luggage, and the meals were fine for vegetarians (not great but actually better than we expected). The camp felt very safe and sociable. Plenty of space to...

Chalet 91 was comfortable but once again there were management problems. There was an initial shortage of sheets the first day, a shortage of towels the second day (they came later) and the airconditioning unit leaked inside. One of the globes had to be replaced. Once again, the location of the camp for game viewing is unbeatable as the camp...

The Camp is large and spread out so didn't feel crowded. The accommodation needs updating and there was no sink plug in the hut, or in the ablution block (in a country where water is scarce). Our room was located next to the waterhole and was clean with tea and coffee facilities. The camp shops are not well stocked and it...

Okaukuejo is run by the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts, a government entity). Nevertheless it is well maintained and clean. It has a gas station (petrol and diesel) but it is wise to top off before entering Etosha. (Diesel was low when we visited.) The rondavel ("chalet") was clean and neat. As was the bathroom. As other reviewers have noted, Okaukuejo...

We stayed in one of the chalets and really enjoyed our stay. The chalet had a very comfortable bed, good shower, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and a lovely space outside for having a braai/BBQ. On site you have a pool, restaurant, bar, shop, fuel station, Curio shop and post office. One warning, don't rely on fuel in...

The water hole chalet suited us fine. There was adequate space, a patio and proximity to the water hole. The bed was large and comfortable. The dinner at the resaurant was a bit basic, but not a bad buffet at all. The serving staff did not have much to do with it being a buffet, but they could have been...

This camp is fairly basic, the plus side is being able to make an early start and be already in the park rather than waiting outside the gates. We had breakfast included and on first morning this was fine, on the second they had no power and it was all rather chaotic - mainly with people making rather unreasonable complaints!...

If you stay at the Rest Camp you can be exploring in the National Park at sunrise and sunset. If you stay outside you will be much later. Therefore, it is worth staying here to get the best use of your time in Etosha. There is a good waterhole near the double rooms. We sat there for 4 hours one...

We camped at Okaukuejo on our last night and it felt more like a summer campground than a safari camping stop. The campsites were very close together with no privacy and it was loud into the night. It was raining while we were there and a lot of the campgrounds were flooded. It seems like a good stop for people...
