Our room was very nice, clean and a comfortable place for us to rest after a long trip through Southern Namibia. The service that we received at the resort was incredibly mixed - some of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy during our stay while others seemed like they could care less that...

Okaukuejo Camp was quite disappointing. It may be worth it in the dry season because their waterhole is beautiful and such a nice place to spend an evening, but we spent over 5 hours at night waiting without a single animal appearing. The service is terrible- the staff is unwilling to even answer questions for guests. The dinner buffet is...

We had stayed at Okaukuejo on another occasion but this second visit was much better. The chalet was very clean and all ready when we arrived. We were next to the waterhole but not many sightings as it was the dry season. We did have a few good sightings on our trip through Etosha. The dinner and breakfast we had...

Our waterhole chalet was surprisingly good. Spotlessly clean, nicely appointed even if the finish is basic. The rooms have a fridge which is great but there is only one spare electric socket so bring bring an extension to charge multiple gadgets at once. Unfortunately due to the recent rain the waterhole was empty on both nights we stayed but that...

Unfortunately after making over 200km inside the park, we stop here for the meal and refreshing beer - WE END UP GETTING NOTHING. Kiosk with quick grab occupied by long line up, restaurant stop serving and waiting time for beer was absolutely ridicules. This SITE is run by government and do not stand up or measure up to the near...

We had a standard double room and the room is not bad, but extremely small. We had problems with fitting the luggage in. Otherwise it is clean and nice. The food and service was ok. The waterhole is stunning. Maybe chose one of the chalets to have more space.

In the dry season the waterhole is top! Elephants, black and white rhino, giraffe and all sorts. You will not be disappointed. However, if you come in the rains you will see nothing - yep, we saw almost not one animal on our last visit in January! But made up for it by our game drives where we saw lions,...

The undisputed winner size-wise of our trip, Okaukuejo is a big camp/lodge. I liked it here. Our group had rooms/lodges with view to the watering-hole, wich brings me to the best thing. The watering-hole in Okaukuejo is by itself a reason to stay here, I think this must be one of the very best watering holes in whole of Etosha,...

After several visits with the last one a total disgrace it was pleasing to see some improvements in reception. Our two chalets were ready for occupation on arrival and in reasonable order. Clean and tidy and well furnished. Okaukuejo is deservedly popular so expect lots of activity around camp. Food was buffet style in the large restaurant and excellent value....

It is all about the waterhole, because the restaurant, reception and shop staff are not particularly friendly (the cleaners are friendly, though); the shop is poorly supplied, the buffet restaurant expensive and not great, and the tyre pressure gauge was out of order when we were there, so impossible to adjust our tyre pressure. However, the Waterhole more than makes...
