This the 3rd NWR resort we stayed at during our trip and actually we can say more or less the same about all 3 of them. Good rooms, clean, spacious and good showers all 3 lacking the shower curtain. Grounds have great potential but are not properly maintained. The waterhole here at Halali was nice. The location was nicer but...

My wife and I did a self-driving safari in Etosha for 6 days during the rainy off-season. We lodged at Okaukuejo, Halali, and Namutoni (all three of these camps have campsites available, which isn't made clear on the NWR website) and camped at the new Olifantsrus campground (exclusively for camping) in Western Etosha. We had very good luck at the...

We spent a pleasant day at the Halali camp in a family chalet named Sekelbos. These are the things we liked about our stay: • Family chalet was very spacious; two bed rooms, living room, kitchenette, bathroom and two patios one open & completely outdoor and the other with short walls, BBQ place and table for 4. Kitchenette had basic...

I am really wondering why the Halali Resort is in the Etosha, because the Park is really amazing so the Halali Camp does not belong into it. The staff is unfriendly, you have got the feeling they dont really like their job. We had a broken glass behind the fridge and they did not clean it. The food was OK....

Halali camp is certainly a good rest camp. Food is ok and rooms are quite decent. The waterhole there ( Moringa) is a good place at late afternoon to watch wildlife. Staying at Halali is a good option to reach some interesting waterholes, covering a few of the Okaukuejo and Namutoni area.

The cottage I rented for two nights was average in cleanliness, and reasonably spacious, but the cleaning staff had settled in for a cup of coffee in the kitchen area the second day instead of cleaning the cottage, and then stole a cup and saucer that I was later questioned about. They also did no clean that second day; something...

From the 3 Lodges in the Etosha park from the NWL this one is the weakest one. The rooms are ok. The food not so much, and the service... The watering hole is OK, but not much action. The night drive was fine

Over nighted here whilst moving across Etosha. Much quieter as not everyone who visits the park stays here. The rooms are OK, require updating. The food is good and the staff helpful. Again small pool with little shade.

Halali means "Call to the hunt" The grounds and facilities are modern and clean. The inside of the Park is ran by the Government so don't be upset if someone doesn't seem too enthused to help you. Good rooms and good food.

We stayed for one night, the place was much better than expected with large clean rooms and friendly staff, the food was good and the waterhole was great but was very busy, we saw black rhinos, it is an ideal stay if transiting Etosha, we would stay again if our needs require a stop.
