The worst ever! Very unfriendly and rude receptionist! Campsite bathrooms were very dirty and need a total replacement! 250 namibian dollar pp. Soooo expensive for what you get! I would never go back, not worth it at all!

Wecame back here for the fourth time now. And were surprised to see that they build a brand new restaurant there. Near the campsite and the houses you can rent. The very charming old Fort has been abandoned!! Why we cannot even imagine. The newe restaurant has much less charm. Perhaps the sign on the enrance that 7 germans stopped the...

Start of with the not so good - the waterhole is not so great. We had a bush chalet which was very nice. Large room and 2 steps down a connected huge bathroom. Food at the restaurant is good and the staff was very friendly.

I was very surprised at the stunning rooms for a National Park. Outdoor shower and indoor shower. The only negative is that the restaurant seems to only do buffet meals which are priced for International tourists. I was International but next door in South Africa; am sure those from Europe found it rather reasonable, but not South Africans.

This was the first lodge we stayed at during our trip, and i liked it a lot. I felt the overall atmosphere was good, the accomodation and rooms was as far as i could tell clean and well looked after. The fort itself was cool, well worth including in some pictures. I had no complaints about the food. Didn`t spend...

Pool here is lovely and clean. Viewing area at the waterhole is quite small. It is a busy camping area but there is grass which is nice. We had Jackals visit our tent area. We did short drives to other waterholes from here.

It was great to arrive here after a long day's drive and we were pleased it was a spacious camp and didn't feel crowded. Showers and toilets weren't very clean though especially in the morning when they were full of insects!

Rooms and bathroom are huge. Having a shower here is so much better than at Okaukuejo, where the bathroom floor do not become wet and slippery. Of course the food and service is better at Okaukuejo. Waterhole here does not have much animal activity compare to Okaukuejo.

We went from Galton Gate to Okaukuejo in one day, travelling to Namutoni on the second and leaving the park on the third. Namutoni is great for people leaving the eastern gate, but we preferred the Okaukuejo camp so much more. We didn't see any wildlife at the waterhole. Staff is very friendly and campingspots are nice. The chudop waterhole...

And the amazing thing was that we were told it was the 'off season'. Yet there appeared to be hundreds of people milling around everywhere. I was told that during the busy time of year the camp can get so overcrowded that there is virtually no space to even walk inside! Shame because i loved the watering hole and seating...
