Receptionist is not very friendly, the owner did het best to refurbisch the rooms and was quick with the repair of the water. Swimmingpool looked nice but was too cold to swim. The rooms are very old. The area is beautiful, but in Graskop itsekf is not much to do.

A lovely hotel, beautifully styled in the lobby, lounge, restaurant etc. We were in the annex rooms and they were lovely with crisp white bedding and lovely views over the garden. The addition of the bunk beds in the entrance lobby of the rooms was fab as it meant that they could be family rooms while giving a bit of...

From the outside the hotel doesn't look very inviting but once you are inside it's nice. Nice pool area and private parking inside the gates. The rooms have a good size. Rooms facing the pool unfortunately have no balcony. The bath shower in room 16 is a catastrophy. To climb into the bath, then close the glas folding door is...

This place is a bargain. Our rooms were comfortable, and the grounds were gorgeous. The view from the terrace where we had a lovely breakfast is spectacular. Try to get their on a night when Leah is tending bar. She is one of a kind!

Upon check in after 14h30 our garden suite wasnt ready to occupy, the suite was in a mess, housekeeping still busy elsewhere, would have appreciated reception staff informing us the suite is not ready! We eventually checked in 16h30, noticed filthy bedside rugs are bath mats, the spare blankets are frayed, some quality control maintenance is needed at this suite....

I had 10 guests on a tour of the Kruger National Park, and our first night was spent at the Graskop Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms in the garden are comfortable and the dinner was good.

An enjoyable two nights. Room was cosy and comfortable with basic requirements. Water was hot and bathroom spacious - perhaps enough room for a separate shower instead of over bath. Breakfasts and the one evening meal were tasty and more than sufficient. Waitrons were friendly and attentive. Room was noisy - wooden floors and walls didn't help and proximity to...

The hotel is nice with friendly helpful staff and a fair dinner (if you have pre-booked) The breakfast is good. What makes this hotel special is the involvement of local South African artists in decorating the the hotel and it's rooms, so apart from the size of the rooms which is basically the same, the decoration in each room differs...

Our family used the hotel as a base to visit the Panorama Route, and stayed in the garden suites. The hotel is a bit like a large art gallery. The hotel rooms are themed by artist, and the common areas have larger art works displayed. Don't get put off by this, it gives the place great character and has been...
