Sea view hotel in nilaveli is the worst place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. The hotel is dirty, smells bad, there was no wardrobe in the room and the service was very poor. To all travelers going to Nilaveli, consider staying in Trincomalee as there is nothing to do in Nilaveli except being on the beach.

The positive thing: really nice view and a Short way to the beach. Actually the only positive thing. The Hotel is way to expensive. The Rooms, the Outdoor area and the Rest of the Hotel are really dirty and run-down. It's very loud. The towels were dirty. The staff Do ALWAYS try to cheat you. With every drink, laundry food...

We stayed in this hotel as part of it your package, and we were very disappointed. Bugs everywhere, dirty towels in the rooms and a leak in the main stairway. No basic hygiene to be seen. The location is directly on the beach overlooking pigeon bay which is a remarkable view to say the least, however getting there is a...

The hotel building was miserable, the food took a long time to arrive, inefficient service. Bad rooms, bugs.....do NOT go!! I do like the beach, but other than that, the AC was noisy, power kept getting cut, there was no generator and getting to the hotel is extremely irritating and difficult.

We came from Dambulla and had the hotel recommended by out host there. From the outside the hotel looks a bit sketchy and the rooms aren't exactly up to Hilton standards. But with that said, the hotel really did the job! The room was decent with a nice sea view and the staff were all very welcoming and helpful! We...

I had booked a 5 day dive package with the Poseidon Diving Center in Nilaveli-Trincomalee and had asked them to recommend hotels in the vicinity. As the Sea View Hotel was the nearest - a less than 10 minute walk along the beach - I booked 6 nights at the Sea View Hotel without having read any reviews. When I...

We, (three families) booked 3 double rooms. It was hard enough to find the place as there is another sea view hotel which is of better quality. Reaching that hotel in a van is a hard task. The small lane which takes to the hotel is so bad that we felt like we are going on a bull cart on...
