We visited this Hotel during our Trip throght Central Asia. The rooms are clean and are having a good size. The Staff is friendly. Breakfast was ok. There are enough parking spots. Negativ points: you have to pay in $ and the price is higher than it is for the locals. No wifi.

Stayed here one night as part of a tour so didn't choose it and not sure on price v quality. Didn't have high expectations so wasn't disappointed! We arrived at 6pm and left at 8am so didn't really spend much time here. Few issues for our group re un made up rooms and rooms with no lighting were dealt with...

This property is recommended by Lonely Planet and it might be one of the better hotels in Mary, but is hard to get excited about. Inside it looks institutionalized, a bit like an upmarket jail, and the rooms are tired and not inviting. The only sheet on my bed did not tuck in on any side, the shower was cold...

My sister and I stayed here for a night when we visited Mary and Merv. I was glad we only stayed one night here, as the rooms here are very drab, and not too clean either. The beds were comfy, and the bedding was clean, but the rest of the room was very downtrodden, stains on carpets and walls, cigarette...

Some of the reviewers here may have their hotels mixed up. The Margush indeed is an older hotel, the Hotel Mary Myhmanhanasy on the other hand is new. It does not help that Tripadvisor has never heard of it This is a very opulent hotel in the style of the East. All marble and gilt with Turkmeni carpets and silk...

Pretty much the only option for most visitors to the area this hotel is very much in the vainglorious style currently popular here. So expect lots of empty space, marble and gilt...but not a great deal of substance. Everything in the room worked, and the indoor pool was open. As the hotel is very new it was not a great...

There is a brand spanking marble edifice in Mary now which will cater for group tours and package holidays and those who only stay in hotels. Meanwhile travellers I suspect will continue to stay here. Again as I came here after days in the desert I found this hotel friendly, clean and the staff helpful. Rooms were comfortable although a little...

So having read the reviews we were not really looking forward to our stay here on a group tour we had booked. However it is nowhere near as bad as some are saying. Rooms are a bit tatty, carpets are old and a bit stained, however it was clean and the beds were comfy. We had joked about wanting to...

I'm really surprised at most of the reviews on here, did they stay in the same hotel? It's definitely not "excellent" but far from horrible! Mary doesn't have that many hotels so you'll have very little choice, the same goes for restaurants in the nearby area. The rooms were ok, but the best space is the entrance where you can...

I stayed here for two nights while on a group tour. We arrived very late after a rough day, and the room was totally dysfunctional. The bed lacked a top sheet between the nasty comforter and bottom sheet. The carpet was covered in cigarette burns. There was no direct window but an awkward shared, closed balcony. The bathroom had literally...

“The hotel is always empty. Ask to see each room to see which is the least objectionable. The rooms vary in cleanliness and damage. Only rooms on the 3rd floor (marked as 2nd floor because the ground floor is floor 0 for some reason) have balconies. Rooms on the west side of the hotel have a good view of the local mosque.”
