We spent some time in late July at Scotty's. The motel was very fun, very rustic, but also very clean and quiet. It's not a delux hotel, but it is close to the "action" in Munising. Great tours and great food, except for the Dog Patch. That sucked. Anyway, Scotty's was a delight.

Friends and I spent 2. Nights in 3 rooms and the motel was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and beds acceptable. The. Owner was very accomodatin for us. The place was very quiet, too. I would stay there again.

The place is definitely divey on the outside. The inside is early 70 s. Old style tv. The shower was scary. But I slept great. Sheets smelled clean and for 45.00 what more could I ask for. Close to a really good restaurant, you can walk over.

The motel is the epitome of the classic family road vacation. It's charming, unique and old school. Yes, it's a bit outdated and "rustic", but it was clean and interesting. It's right off of the main drag of Munising so it was an easy walk to most things. The best part: it cost a fraction of the other hotels and...

Basically, this place is dirty, ill-maintained, and poorly staffed. It's Too good to be true. I typically read reviews and trust the reviews of others. I had to search out a new place to stay as the normal place was booked for the evening. When I saw that Scotty's Motel had a good review and that was clean and inexpensive,...

I felt very lucky to find Scotty's. All the other hotels in the area were over a $100 per night and could not match the convenient location. The National Forest vistor's center is just a few blocks, as well as downtown, and the docks. As far as the room...small, clean (yes, a few cobwebs)...the sheets were very clean as well...

We were traveling and came into Munising on a Friday night without a hotel reservation. We were having a hard time finding a hotel for less than $150 so when we pulled into Scotty's my husband went in and came out laughing at the $29 room. The room in tiny and out of date but that's not what bothered me....

Great location! Its just a short to downtown Munising. We didn't have any issue with noisy neighbors like another review. We stayed for 3 nights and found the people to be very friendly. The rooms aren't much and the shower definitely wasn't the cleanest I've ever seen but the price is unbeatable. We stayed for 3 nights at Scotty's for...

A very nice room, great owners, I did have five family members meet there and they got the same nice rooms, great bed, bath @ location, caution on late night area neighbors(noise wise)and not your mothers cleaning but a man's place, it is a hidden gem for the wallet. Please don't tell anyone.

I was not expecting Scotty's Motel to be fancy considering the price but I was expecting clean. This was the second dirtiest hotel I have stayed in. Our room was dirty and had not been dusted in a very long time. There were cobwebs everywhere. The tub was not clean. I don't mind out dated furniture and carpeting, but I...
