Five of us had lunch in the open-air restaurant at the beach. There was plenty of hand sanitizer available. 4 of us had broiled Corvina (sea bass) with a creamy garlic sauce, and our opinions were unanimous - tasted as if the fish had been frozen and re-frozen many times. It had lost its similarity to being a fish. The other dish served at the table was breaded shrimp, and the eater said "I've had much better elsewhere". Smoking is allowed in the restaurant area, and this was noticeable even though not many Nicaraguans smoke. It only takes one! We didn't stay for dessert.

The staff would not even ttempt to accommodate us after breakfast hours, 1 minute after 10 a.m. literaly. Did not make an effort to offer any decent food at that moment. They couldn't care less for the fact that we had two minors with us asking for some food. Sad but true. I won't be comi g back.

This place is NOT sanitary - lots of black mould in shower. Wifi would not work, TV did not work, no hot water at all. Service was brutal and wouldn’t help with anything - staff did not speak English and would use that to their advantage to not help you out. Sitting in restaurant we wouldn’t get served unless went to bar and ordered ourself. Manager would not come to talk to us. Insisted on changing rooms halfway through stay. If you want to get sick, come visit this place. It is absolutely repulsive!

How rude!!! They charge a minimum $10 per credit card using. Unacepptable!!! How come they could charge a $10 mimimum on credit card, when a credit business contract does not permit it. Please consider another place to visit

Only stayed one night and could not wait to get out! Main floor Wifi was not working unless you stood at the corner of the room and staff refused to sign us in to the ones for the other floors that were working. The beds were uncomfortably hard and made for a terrible if not impossible sleep. The restaurant was super over priced and closed at 6pm so we ended up having to go out somewhere else for dinner. The pool was closed the whole time we were there even though we asked the staff and said we could use it, but it was only half full (and also closed at 6pm). Great view of the waves though! On an unrelated note make sure to bring plenty of cash because the only atm in the whole beach is 1.5 km away

I could have sat in the dining area the whole time and just watched and listened to the surf. Beautiful location right on the beach. Every morning, the pelicans seemed to run their drills back and forth skimming the wavetops. Excellent location for sunsets too. We did not have the experience of blaring music but rather we had oldies playing softly in the background and this suited us fine. Our room was large, with two double beds. No fancy decorating but good mattresses and very clean. Rocking chairs by the pool area to sit and read. Breakfast was huge and excellent.

The view was great and the food was delicious. We had red snapper and it was huge! They prepared it well and we had French fries. I would for sure travel back and eat here again if I can find the time.

Could not hear the waves because of the blaring music. The restaurant is blasting music all day and late night. We heard the restaurant music in our room on the second floor of the hotel over the waves. We were lucky to get 4 to 5 hours of sleep because of the noise. This hotel may be suitable for young people or deaf people. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights but the experience was so terrible that we decided to leave after the second night.

ae were desperate for a room after arriving at Hotel Bomilu where they reserved a room for us that was so hot and had a ceiling fan that went clang, clang, clang. Then we tried Hotel Ola Azul where there was only one room with air conditioning but it wasn't working. It looked like no one was staying at the hotel and the pool was green. Then we found Hotel Suyapa Beach which has simple rooms. It was just me and my husband but we chose a room with a queen and a single bed just to have more space. It was room #8 on the second floor and close to the beach. We could hear the waves. There is no hot water but the water is a wonderful, refreshing (but not chilly) temperature. The room was $60 and a hearty breakfast was included. The restaurant didn't open until 7:30am and then it took nearly 30 minutes for our breakfast to come, making us late for the tour we had arranged. But it was worth waiting for. Restaurant service was very good.

Spectacular! Sometimes I don't want to write these reviews and give away secrets like this one! Probably the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen over a gorgeous beach while eating a wonderful meal and visited for hours. The atmosphere here just lends itself to relaxation and a delight for the senses!
