ae were desperate for a room after arriving at Hotel Bomilu where they reserved a room for us that was so hot and had a ceiling fan that went clang, clang, clang. Then we tried Hotel Ola Azul where there was only one room with air conditioning but it wasn't working. It looked like no one was staying at the...

Spectacular! Sometimes I don't want to write these reviews and give away secrets like this one! Probably the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen over a gorgeous beach while eating a wonderful meal and visited for hours. The atmosphere here just lends itself to relaxation and a delight for the senses!

We came out to Las Penitas for lunch and stopped at Suyapa Beach Hoel. The spot on the beach was lovely and the view fantastic. We had a great server and the view was wonderful. What a great place to go outside Leon for some time on the beach and great sea food!! There were four of us and we...

We arrived as a group of 24 on a Dental Brigade to serve the northern part of Nicaragua, with 6 Nicaraguan Guides! I had stayed here 3 years ago, with a similar dental brigade, so I knew what to expect, and was not disappointed. The room was spacious and comfortable, but a little noisy, as it was Room #1, at...

After seimming in the sandy ocean the resirt hsd outside showers to rinse off before eating. My one concern was the restaurant staff. They were kind but...

This is a good restaurant, only drawback is expensive. Food is really flavourly. I ordered breaded shrimp, it is really good, along with some tonas. Total bill came to C$500.00 almost $22.00, food was excellent, dip in the ocean great, service was great. Be prepared to pay high price.

This was my go-to breakfast place in Las Penitas. The view was excellent - they have a big terrace overlooking the beach - the food was good and the staff were excellent. I didn't stay in the hotel, just ate there.

We were put in what I assume was the worst room in the hotel, even though there was clearly other rooms available. The desk lady didn't seem too thrilled when we came to book a room. The room was on the 3rd floor and had the roof sheets as a ceiling. When we first arrived, we noticed what appeared to...
