This place seemed upscale, but the price was fine. Really modern, clean, and very quiet--in a courtyard away from the noise of the street (which is, in truth, a side street anyhow). Great breakfasts, friendly staff. Meet the cat--my theory is that he is the actual owner (he acts like it!). There is good service here, e.g. they are always prompt about tending to the front door. Excellent security. Artfully decorated. Rarely do I hang out at a hotel, but this one was an exception. I enjoyed so much that I read a book some in the lounge area.

Spent three nights in this small hotel near central Leon. Nice gardens and outdoor seating. My single room was clean, small with adjacent shower. Bed was comfy and a/c great. Good breakfast eaten in the garden. Staff lovely.

If I pay over 70 USD for a hotelroom with Wifi in the US, I expect a halfway decent room with hot shower and wifi. In Nicaragua I would expect at least the same if not more, considering everthing here is much cheaper (e.g. wages for staff etc). So when I paid over 70 USD at this hotel (looking forward to a halfway decent hotelrooom for my birthday after sleeping in the campervan for 3 months), I was VERY disappointed to get a room where the slow wifi was working only about 5% of the time, where the shower was COLD, where there is not even a second towel, a towel to step on when getting of the shower, a hand towel to dry hands or soap to wash hands in the half broken tiny sink (which is in a hole in the wall making it impossible to cleanly shave) and where in generel the whole room and bathroom is very run down. Oh and don't expect daily room service! I don't mind but its another indicator of the value this hotel brings. I don't recall ever having this bad value for money before. The staff didn't care about trying to fix the wifi and our complaint via Hotels.com was also ignored from the hotel. Horrible! Save your money and go somewhere where you get something from it! If you still want to pay too much for a run down room with non existent wifi, I would suggest to not book in advance as the hotel will be empty anyways and last minute prices are much cheaper (still way too expensive for what you get though). I am aware that dynamic pricing is part of modern life but it still feels like a slap in the face when you see the last minute price after you've paid so much for services that partially don't even exist in this hotel (Wifi, rooms service...) Complaining and contacting the hotel they decided to completely ignore and the platform I booked through. …

What a lovely hotel. Beautiful grounds. Great, central location within walking distance of centre and all amenities/places of interest. Room was comfortable, clean and the whole hotel is very secure. We did manage to get water from the shower flowing into the bedroom, so be careful! (Our error I'm sure!). A little oasis of calm. Simple breakfast available.

I have been coming to Nicaragua for 20 years and this is my first trip to Leon. The area is much cheaper than in the south and I think is clearly on the upswing. This hotel is in a good location and offers secure parking which is huge. Also, the breakfast is good. The rooms are non-descript and the shower seemed to spray everywhere. But for the price I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place inside a old Spanish colonial building right next to a park and church. A little grocery store around the corner. Very firendly staff with included breakfast. Very safe. Very quiet. Loving it

It was a great place to stay, cozy hotel, the staff was so nice and welcomed us even that we didn’t have any reservation. Room was comfortable, hot water and AC worked well, comfortable beds. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but it had good taste, great fruit and juices.

I stayed here recently for a couple of nights. It was a nice hotel with a courtyard area and free breakfast. If you keep an eye out you might notice the turtles in the courtyard! The room was spacious and the shower had hot water. The bed was very comfortable too. The only downside was that you could hear too easily the people in the neighbouring room. The hotel is in a good location, only a few blocks away from the town centre.

I stayed here 1 night while on an organised tour. Quaint central courtyard with rooms arranged around it. Comfortable, clean, quiet room, AC, wifi. Good location, 10-15min walk from main Cathedral. Simple breakfast available.
