AL SOLE Hotel it's a colonial house in the center of Leon. We offer 6 EN SUITE ROOMS with access to a large kitchen and 3 INDEPENDENT LARGE (2 floors) APARTMENTS.
All decorations are simple and rustic, using wood and cane. It has a large tropical garden, a refreshing POOL and an open air fully equipped kitchen. The property is located in the Zaragoza Barrio where you will experience the everyday life of this beautiful colonial city of Leon. The property is 15 minutes walk from the city center and 5 minutes by taxi. There are plenty of small shops around , a supermarket about 2 blocks and a bank branch 2 blocks away. Walking you can get anywhere, and appreciate the beauty of the city. Leon it's very safe. Taxis cost $40 Cordobas for person and 50 Cordobas at night. What a find Al Sole is! The rooms were clean, beautifully furnished and the bed was soooo comfy with soft sheets and the AC worked perfectly (and quietly).Having the use of a kitchen area with fridge was really handy as it’s so hot. The seating/hammock areas and garden were cute and the little pool was deep and very refreshing. There were 2 bikes that we didn’t have time to use but looked pretty new. A little walk from the centre but León felt pretty safe. Accommodating owners who clearly take good care of their little oasis.

If you are looking for a taste of Mediterranean paradise then this quiet garden of Eden is the place to go when visiting Leon , the owner and the staff are very helpful and welcoming , beds are comfortable and everything is very clean . Very recommendable !!

Location is really peaceful and only about 10 - 15 mins walk from the centre of town. Room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Lovely pool and nice shared kitchen and facilities. The owner and staff are also very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

We were planning to stay here for three nights. We contacted the hotel and said that we wanted to stay for 3 nights starting on either the 7th or the 8th. We told them that we would confirm the timing the next day and they said that would be fine. We confirmed the next morning that we would be arriving on the 8th and they responded telling us that they were now booked out for the 8th and the 9th. We found that very frustrating as we had told them we would definitely be there for those two dates, and our understanding was that the reservation had been made. They could have told us they weren't going to make the reservation until we had firm dates and we would have told them the dates up front. This was a disappoint experience that could avoided with better communication.

Al Sole provides the perfect location if you want some peace and quite but still be close enough to walk to the center of town (~15 minute walk). The rooms are very comfortable, include AC and are clean. The owner and staff are very friendly.

Nice accomodation, although without airco quit hot. Well equiped kitchen. Good value for money. Liked that they could do our laundry. The day we left we booked an excursion somewhere else, they would pick us up at the guesthouse. Luckily the owner has good connections, the excursion operator forgot to pick us up but thanks to his whatsapp message with them they showed up finally

We stayed 2 nights at Al Sole and felt totally relaxed! When we entered we were surprised by the beautiful and nicely decorated garden. It's not far from the center and we really enjoyed the big open kitchen! The room and the bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. We felt very welcomed by Pierro and his girlfriend and met interesting people! We would always come back to Al Sole! It is the perfect place to stay for us in León!

Our group of four booked this hostel online at 9:30 pm after a fairly arduous 3 hours at the border of Honduras that pushed our arrival time into León back more than we had anticipated. At that point we were just trying to book anywhere with a private room because we were all a little exhausted from our trip. I’m not sure how we landed on Al Sole but we are extremely glad we did. The couple who own it were incredibly welcoming and helpful and just made us feel at home the second we arrive, well after 10 pm. All of the rooms are private and have spacious private bathrooms. The price is unbeatable for what you get and the common areas and kitchen are beautiful. On top of everything, there are two big happy dogs walking around who really are some of the cutest I’ve seen. This place is safe, quiet and very comfortable. We ended up staying 3 nights because we loved it so much. Highly recommended. …

We stayed at Al sole for two days. The place is very well located, close to the city center and the room we had was comfortable and clean. The private bathroom was spacious. The breakfast was excellent. Very good value for money! We recommend this place.
