My girlfriend and I stayed a couple of night and had an excellent stay. The rooms are nice and clean. The price is also really good. The service was great: I forgot my GoPro 9 in the hostel room and went to Antigua. They actually sent the Gopro to me in Antigua which was amazing.

Nice, quiet and clean place to stay in the heart of León. Decent sizes of rooms, small but clean pool, 24/7 attendance and small grocery store where you can find all basic things you might need. Beds are comfortable and clean. Stayed 3 adults and one baby in a private room, was perfect.

We were very impressed with Volcano Hostel. Our room was very spacious and the breakfasts that were included with the room rate were delicious. The prices were very reasonable. Our room had a couple of fans, which were very useful given how hot it gets in Leon. There are a few common areas, and some hammocks to relax in. The hostel has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff were friendly. It is in a reasonably central location. We highly recommend this hostel for a good value budget stay in Leon.

I stayed here for a few days and the staff was fantastic. I had a great cooked breakfast every morning including coffee and the hostel manager is very friendly and accommodating. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi router when I showed up and since he knew it was very important for me to have access to Wi-Fi he fixed it for me right away. He also answered all of my questions right away and corresponded very fast via Airbnb. Leon is a small city and this location is great as all of the sightseeing can be done within walking distance from this hostel. As you can read from the other reviews there is not any air conditioning provided at this hostel but that is very common for backpacking in Central America. There were 2 fans in my room and I never felt too hot. I highly recommend booking here!…

I booked the volcano hostel in Leon. Basic room. Single bed with room and washroom. No Ac, but there was a fan, and the owner told me he’ll bring me another if I needed it. Obviously you can’t expect much for a hostel, but I think it was just what I needed. The owner was really nice and welcoming. If anyone is looking for a basic hostel I definitely recommend. Breakfast was delicious as well!
