Stayed here for in July. So disappointed with the service, well there is no such thing as customer service. No one speaks to you. The water was cold and there was no handle on the bathroom door in our room. Our room was clean however friends were not and they actually left and went to another hotel. Breakfast was not good.I was...

Would not recommend to stay at this hotel as it doesn't have a hot water supply. Breakfast is made all at once so unless you go down at 7am it is heated up , and not fresh. No air conditioning but fan rooms are noisy. Needs a lot of work done on this hotel

Disgustingly dirty! Mould on ceiling in the bathroom. Sink leaks water all over the floor making it slippery. You have to keep hold of the sink tap to stop it swivelling to the wall where it sprays more water. Room is very basic, but if clean would be OK. Air con is useless. No hot water.

Stayed her for three nights as part of a group tour. I cannot say anything good about, it was dirty and this included the sheets on the bed. It is also very very noisy. I left my passport and excess money in their safe but what a mistake, i discovered that the reception was empty most of the time and...

The location was great, the people kind and friendly. This looks like it might have been a GRAND place at one time, but time has had its' toll. Our room was adequate, but several of our friends had issues (shower wouldn't turn off, a/c didn't work, bed broke, etc). Staff took care of them, but???

The hotel is conveniently situated and has good wifi. Pleasant courtyard. But the rooms at the front are horrendously noisy with local music (until 4am on a Saturday night), shouting and arguing in the street, late and early traffic etc. The rooms are a good size but are filthy, were not serviced unless you insisted, had gaps in the flimsy...

The staff was eager to please, breakfast (included) was tasty, and the center courtyard was lovely. But the room itself was in poor repair and only passingly clean (by my standards). Also, note that (according to a friend who lives in Leon), if a Nica hotel does not specify that it has hot water, it (like this one) does not!...

The rooms are not much, but the price is good, the beds comfortable and the patio beautiful (good looking colonial style) The staff was friendly and the wireless - one of the best we had in Central America.

Fantastic stay for $28 for a single ($10 cheaper than next door). Amazingly comfortable double bed (in a single room!) upstairs, cable TV, air cond, private bathroom, little windows that open to the courtyard. And the courtyard is fantastic! Grab a couple beers next door at the Texas Hold em Club (3 for $2) and enjoy the wifi while sitting...

Stayed one night. They put us in a room in the back with no window. They told us that the upstairs rooms and the whole place was occupied. We never saw another guest. They either scammed the money from the owners or they didn't want to climb stairs to clean. The breakfast was one egg rice with beans and toast...

“Rooms are very dirty and hotel is so noisy.”

“A friend who lives in Leon told me that few hotels in Nicaragua have windows. I had one of the few rooms that did have a window, which turned out to be a problem. A few doors down from the hotel is some sort of sports club that seems to be open 24 hours a day. Between the voices (and too often, outright yelling) from its customers and the motorcycles and cars roaring away from the stop sign outside the hotel pretty much round the clock, sleep was hard to come by. The room did have A/C, and running that helped with the noise, but the A/C seemed to have two settings: off and deep freeze. I think a room in the back of the hotel would have been more comfortable.”
