Beautiful hotelito in the heart of Leon. Natural setting with clean and spacious rooms. Convenient to everything. Amazing culture and lovely people. Friendly and gracious hosts. Highly recommend staying here while you enjoy the city of Leon.

The owner John is very amiable as a host. He's been in Nicaragua for two decades and really knows the town well. His directions are spot on. He prepares a delicious and healthy breakfast every day with fruit, eggs, juice, and terrific coffee. He likes to chat and can wax poetic on a number of books, arts, etc. He is...

We really enjoyed our stay at El Nancite Guesthouse. The room we stayed in (above the reception area) was very spacious and super clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (fruit, toast, fruit juice, coffee) on the sunny balcony outside our room each morning. The bell tower of the nearby cathedral was visible from the balcony. The host (Jose) was very...

Stayed for three lovely days at El Nancite, it was an excellent starting point to explore Leon. The staff was fantastic, the owner John was away and Jose was in charge while he was gone (actually it was a family affair, there were three Jose's since his father and son are also named Jose :). Jose made sure we were...

Guesthouse El Nancite is a great place for any traveler, solo or family. John the owner is very gracious and a great host. He has both AC and non-AC rooms available. I stayed in the non-AC room and even at the end of May with the start of the rainy season the room was very comfortable. John made a great...

After a disappointing trip in Nicaragua my last stop was this urban oasis. Leon is a wonderful city and I managed to stumble upon the greatest accommodation and host in Nicaragua, if not the entire world. After a good night's sleep in what seemed like the only clean hotel mattress in Nicaragua I woke up to a hot shower in...

Thanks for everything to John, such a nice host. The guesthouse is beautiful, next to the bakery, and the breakfast is very good ! Family rooms are huge and not so expensive, we preferred to pay for it.

We stayed here on two different occasions and enjoyed our experiences there both times. The owners, Jon and Gladys, are wonderful people and interesting to speak with. The guesthouse is very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable and a tasty breakfast is included. We stayed in two different rooms and both were fantastic. I highly recommend staying here if you are...

We stayed here upon searching up and down streets of Leon and finally ended up at this beautiful guest house. We didn't see anyone at the desk so we started yelling Hola to the hallway beyond. Surprisingly to us, an American man by the name of John appeared. This was a relief for us because our Spanish is terrible and...

Was quite happy to stay here for five nights-we were lucky to have been offered the large suite upstairs with balcony overlooking the garden, and spent several late afternoons chilling here with a bottle of wine. Always felt safe and John or his wife were never far away if we needed them or wanted to ask a question. very central....
