It is a very nice And really beautiful place. Really comfortable and clean bungalows. Absolutely relaxing just 10 minutes from the center in Leon, 15 minutes from the beach. Jennifer and Julian are super helpful and friendly! We would definitely recommend this hotel!

The owners are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The pool is a wonderful addition due to the heat. Nice location away from the noise of Leon. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quite place to stay in Leon.

Very clean with super friendly, helpful and hospitable staff. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place away from the noise and heat of the city but still close enough to experience all León has to offer.

We had our own little cabana with a sitting area and gorgeously appointed semi outdoor bathroom. Loved showering looking up at the sky and trees! Very clean, with super comfortable beds. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and clearly anxious to make sure your stay is perfect. The pool is the perfect antidote to the cooking heat of Leon. It is a little ways out of town, but worth the 3$ cab ride( don't pay more than this!!), for the peace and quiet. Highly recommended.

Very clean rooms, great pool, great food. Staff is absolutely amazing and very helpful. Location is one bus ride into town, 5 Cordoba to get on and it's 20 meters from the door. I highly recommend staying here and will stay again if I make it to Leon again.

Hotel was well situated just off the main city centre, which allowed for a short walk back away from the noise of the centre after dinner. Staff were friendly and spoke good English which helped us navigate Granada and all there is to see and do there. Liam (owner) was knowledgeable and helpful at all times.

We stayed here for a night, we stayed in a bungalow, love the outdoor/indoor shower. The bed is really big, the room was cool, had a great stay. The restaurant had a simple delicious menu. Dessert was brought to our bungalow. Attentive, pleasant staff. I recommend this place to everyone.

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff make it an amazing place!!! My room, or rather hut, was also just perfect. I loved the out door shower so much!!! It is perfectly clean and the couple from Spain and France whom run the hotel are the perfect hosts!! Glenda, one of the cooks, makes your stay even more perfect with her warm character and lovely cooking!! The hotel is indeed a little out of the centre, but I took the locale bus to town which is a great to do and see and connect a bit with the locals. The busstop is just around the corner from the hotel and it only takes you about 10 minutes. On my way back I always took a taxi. If you bargain they will take you for 30 cordobas. At night I gave them 50.

This was the perfect place to stay for our stay in Leon! We were traveling with a group of four and had two separate bedrooms (each with a bathroom!) The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had A/C. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool but that looked really nice too. So glad we found Hotel Mariposa!

This hotel is located Aboutaleb 3 km out of the City on the road to the Pacific Coast. They have some bungalows and 2 or 3 rooms in the main building. The bungalows are large and well designed. They don,t have air conditioning but with the huge ventilator on the ceiling it is more than enough. They have a nice swimming pool so after your visits you can relax in a quiet cosy place. They serve also good food. Everything is clean and the owners and their staff do all what they can to please you.
