Cannot recommend enough all the positive reviews do Posada Fuente Castalia the justice it deserves. The owners are so nice and the location perfect with a great breakfast to boot. We even arranged with the owners at a more than resonable price for transport to Granada. Wished we could have stayed longer, hopefully back next year. All the best Dean...

I would stay here again in a heart beat. This hotel is in a great location but the main thing we loved is the family is SO sweet. They even took us to the beach with their family. A truly unique experience in Nicaragua and you can tell they truly care about what they do. The breakfast was hearty, traditional,...

Close to the center of town and short walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Small but nice rooms, comfortable bed, clean all around. Charming court yard, good breakfast (inclded). Very nice owners, helpful with limited English .

This place strikes a lovely balance between a boutique hotel and a B and B. The owner/operators, Dona Maria Theresa and Don Perdo, are so kind and authentic. Our daughter celebrated her birthday while there, and they went to unbelievable lengths to make it special for her. Half of the people staying at the hotel attended in addition to Dona...

Have to say we found a gem when booking the Posada Fuentes Castalia and at the last minute added another night. It is peaceful, beautiful quiet location , owned and run by Don Pedro and Dona Maria who were absolutely lovely. They told us it used to be their family home and in the family for several generations. We also...

We have three kids and stayed in a room with three double beds. The breakfast is presented family style and was delicious as well. The location is walking distance to...

This hotel has a great location, as everything is within walking distance. They have clean, comfortable rooms that were larger than we expected. Maria does not speak English but is easy to communicate with and makes everyone feel at home. The breakfasts were great- eggs, rice, beans and fruit. Milley is usually around and speaks English and is very friendly...

If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, beautiful surroundings and the greatest hosts, go no further. Maria Teresa and Pedro could not have been more friendly and helpful, sharing their beautiful home with me. Fuente Cavalia is a short walk from the center of Leon, but is in a quiet neighborhood, away from the busy center. My hosts looked after...
