Very quiet hotel, Colibri is located in the center , 5 min from the main square. Rooms are on the back of the hostel so we can't hear the street. Place is very safe, there is a bell for every time you want to get in. The staff is very nice, friendly and welcoming. They can offer some tours with nice promotion. Price is reasonnably correct for private room with shared bathroom and dormitory too. All includes breakfast pancakes with fruit or locals one both very good. Bathrooms are clean. Best place of the hostal is the commun area with hammock to relax out of the noose from the city center We highly recommend this place :)))

We stayed here for 5 nights in a private room. When we arrived it wasn’t particularly clean (bed sheets especially) and we were put right next to the kitchen which woke us up before 6am most mornings. As with most of the places in Nicaragua it is all cold water showers so just be aware of this too. WiFi was good and location is quite central but that was the only upside unfortunately.

I really enjoyed my stay at Colibri Hostal. I organized a Dutch Pancake Event there and I enjoyed my time at the event and in the hostel. People always called me by my first name, were very helpful with practical advice (like getting taxi, etc). Also, the hostel is very well located next to all the main areas in Leon.

A nice quiet hostel tucked away right in the center of it all. A short few blocks away from the main cathedral. Great breakfast and friendly staff. The place is clean and smells like fresh laundry. Nice and open set up with rooms off a beautiful courtyard with fresh flowers.

I stayed this hostal for one night. I was basic but provided all that I needed for my short stay. It was actually very quiet while I was there. There is a big kitchen and had a few hammocks. The best part of the property was its location. Its very close to the cathedral, the main square and free walking tour office. The private room had a fan. Wi-fi only in the common areas. The breakfast was also pretty good as well.
