When I first arrived I was in a private room with bath. Nice on the garden, shared kitchen and an area I could store my food and drinks. After three weeks I moved to a studio apartment which is wonderful. Meeting folks from all over the world has been a bonus I really didn't think about before I left the... More

I was extremely grateful to be able to book an apartment long term, easily, and for a good price. Jason was very accommodating although I never got to meet him. His staff were friendly and usually responded quickly when something needed fixing. This place is definitely a good value and the vibe is friendly between guests. The best part of... More

So it's hard to rate Harvest House because I've never stayed in a guest house before. Some of the things I can tell you about my experience here so far...I have a garden room and the garden is beautiful. To wake up each day to the sounds of the birds and the sights of the garden is to make the... More

We are doing construction in Leon & booked for 18 days. We like Jason. He was helpful. However when we checked in he had left for the states. We had a great quiet room at the back of the garden. It met all our requirements. However things went downhill. I am older & I could see there was a lot... More

We had an enjoyable time at Jason's place, which was centrally located in Leon. Don't forget to buy some of his Harvest House Coffee to take back with you. Jason will also give you a thorough and patient introduction to the city.

This is not a glamorous 5-star resort with a glittering turquoise pool by which to sip fruity drinks served by sexy cabana boys, but if you're looking for a place to call "home" in León, I'd start here. It's a great house with comfortable, inviting common areas and a nice, big kitchen with lots of coffee-making options, and the back... More

I went back to Harvest House again this year. Jason has moved into his new location, which is next door to the old ones. It is a big, beautiful Colonial home that has served as a home, a school, and an orphanage in days past. As always, Jason and James continue to make improvements and provide as excellent hosts to... Spent about 3 months total at Harvest House, started at the original house and them moved into the new larger house down the street. In total I stayed in 3 different rooms, all were great-clean, simple and private with a private en suite. Good central location (5 minute walk to backpacker area/less than 10 to the main cathedral/shopping area), Bright... More

Jason is a great host, as others have noted. The place is clean and has a sense of communal living. Anyone that wants a home feel with kitchen, open spaces and convenience to city center for a very reasonable price should take a look. Some inconveniences? Sure. If you want room service and concierge, this ain't your place. If you... More
