Elias and his family are wonderful hosts. The hotel is clean and well kept. The central location is a fantastic starting point for any type of activity. Elías even checked with me while I was booking travel to ensure that I was having a great experience not just at his property but in León, in Nicaragua. Nicaragua is friendly, safe, and very much open for business.

Great value, nice ambience, clean. Our room was well-appointed, with Lots of lights and power outlets, and a very efficient aircon.Staff were helpful and friendly and able to give us an early breakast before our departure. The location is fantastic, but but but unfortunately this also meant deafening noise (think heavy metal reverberation through brick walls and earplugs) on two of our three nights. The first was a political rally broadcasting from a stage literally right outside the hotel front door, the next afternoon/night the stage was thirty metres away and featured music and speeches for hours on end. Obviously beyond the control of Libano, but irritating nonetheless. So, if you don't mind a little local noise and/or don't expect to be in your room till bedtime, you'll enjoy your stay here.

The hotel is located right in the heart of town. The World Heritage Cathedral is just steps away. The hotel itself is not fancy but has rooms of different sizes and has room air conditioning. I came with 2 cats and a dog, so the ability to get a larger room was very helpful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed 3 days and on day 3, downtown lost power and they supplied water to wash up with. Very nice! I recommend it for a good, basic stay. If you want fancier, you can get it but you won't beat the location.

We stayed in Hotel Libano for 6 nights (extended our original 3 nights because we got sick and couldn't really leave the hotel). Best thing about the hotel is definitely the location - it's directly next to the Cathedral. The room was small but sufficient. The breakfast was basic but good (scrambled eggs with rice and beans plus melon+pineapples). The staff was really nice, they even borrowed a pot from a neighboring hotel so we could make some soup to get better. Unfortunately, the hotel isn't very soundproof and the public men's bathroom (with a loud door) was directly adjacent to our room (nr. 4). The noice is the only issue we had, everything else was great and we would recommend the hotel for future guests.

A group of us stayed at the Hotel Libano and had a great experience. We were there on a mission trip and the hotel could not have been more accommodating in assisting us in every possible way. The rooms were comfortable (although some quite small if doubles) but the owner made sure we were all happy with our accommodations! The triple rooms are very roomy and lovely. We enjoyed the lobby at night to gather as a group and to watch the people stroll by. Location was perfect...just by Cathedral and our favorite corner cafe. Thanks Hotel Libano! Hopefully we will return soon!

Unmatched hospitality. Very interesting location. An A+ for food and cleanliness. A welcoming big smile on the face of every one. During my stay I had the opportunity to talk to couple customers who told me they have been to Hotel Libano before, and every visit they had enjoyed this family owned hotel. I would recommend it to anyone without reserve and hesitation. Bravo management! George Y Z.

We enjoyed our stay over a Saturday night in Hotel Libano. My friend and I stayed in a double and our other friend in a single room. Both rooms were well air conditioned and had comfortable beds. Be warned that you may hear the bells and/or siren go off early in the morning, but that's not the fault of the hotel, just an FYI. We enjoyed the breakfast they provided in the morning too (Gallo pinto, egg, pancakes, fruit, toast, coffee). The best part of the hotel was the kind staff, who were able to help organize a taxi for us in the morning to bring us to the beach and back. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Leon.

This hotel is wonderful! It is decorated so cute. It is in the perfect location. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was delicious. The daughter of the owner works the front desk and will go out of her way to help you... She even went across the street to the coffee shop and translated to English for me! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Extremely friendly staff, and very accommodating. Location couldn't be more perfect. Very clean rooms, and very well enclosed. Would definitely recommend. Windows and walls were a little thin, and curtains didn't do a very good job of blocking the light coming into the rooms. Unfortunately, the amazing location next to the cathedral meant that on Sunday morning we were woken up by very loud bells ringing every half hour starting at about 6. Bed was kind of oddly situated within the room.

I stayed at Hotel Libano recently with a group. From the owners, manager to the rest of the staff they treated each of us as we were family. They provided breakfast and gave us advice, got medicine from the pharmacy for us and even went as far as the owner giving me some medicine from her own for my daughter when she got sick. They are so friendly and accommodating I definitely recommend! And the location is excellent, near everything, I felt very safe.
