I stayed here for three nights this week. I originally had one of the older rooms in section B next to the balcony. While the room was nice, the wifi was awful and I was moved to one of the newer rooms in section C. The room was clean, had a refrigerator and safe and the wifi (which is critical...

We live in Leon and when we have visitors, this is our #1 recommendation. La Perla offers some things that no other hotel in Leon offers. It has an old style with modern convenience and is clean. It has an international style of food with a very tranquil courtyard where you can have breakfast, drinks, or just relax. It can...

Very nice looking entrance. It is a cool welcoming place in a very hot city. If has a refreshing pool in the back. We had a room facing the street on the second floor. The room was clean decorated with antique pieces. Basic. Because the hotel is in a busy part of town, it can be noisy at night.

Great location the outside architecture is great however the actual rooms are musky old and could use an upgrade. It's comfortable but for its price range one of its competitors could do much better. The bar is also quite lacking and could benefit from air conditioning. Most staff specially reception staff is very friendly however could benefit from better bell...

Whatever you do, make sure you don't end up in one of the windowless rooms on the first-floor (Second floor if you're American). These are gloomy and stuffy as you might expect, but even the grander rooms are rather dark and a bit shabby. This is an old building dating, I believe, from the 18th century, and it is furnished...

This hotel is billed as one of the best in Leon but I fail to see why. Its location is quite handy and central and it is accommodated in a grand building, but it has clearly seen better days, and would need millions of dollars of investment to bring it up to acceptable international standards. The approach to the hotel...

Dear, I can understand you did not enjoy your stay in our Hotel, I also can understand you might not also see the real beauty in here, this is a construction made 158 years ago, with a large history, part of the construction the bases were made with parts of the train on Nicaragua and sometimes people used to think...

We enjoyed our recent stay at La perla in Leon. It is in a great location just off of the central square and within the historic center. The rooms were comfortable and ours was large with a balcony. Not luxurious but definitely comfortable. Nice small courtyard pool and a lovely courtyard where we had our breakfasts. Staff was friendly and...

Hotel La Perla occupies what was once a grand mansion and still retains some of its former splendour with its large courtyard setting and grand entrance. Its location, just 2 blocks away from the main cathedral square and within walking distance of some of good restaurants is ideal. The rooms, however, need considerable attention to bring them up to a good...

Everywhere we have stayed in Nicaragua, we were welcomed by friendly, very helpful hotel staff- except at La Perla. The staff were not particularly friendly and didn't seem interested. No information was provided for things like the safe in the room. I have used a lot of safes and presumed it was much the same as others. Not! I had...

It's my 3rd time staying at this hotel, such beautiful house, almost like a palace but this time looked a unpolished. Some walls just need to be retouched to look better, beds are OK but maybe new pillows are needed or more than 2 for a queen size bed. Breakfast was just OK. The staff could be coached in friendliness,...
